That defensive possesion and shot may be what we needed to turn this game.
As bad as we have looked we are down 8.... adjust and start executing! They won’t shoot 70% the rest of the game
Getting outplayed on both ends. This is a great test for us.
Watch these boys in the second half. Gonzaga shooting out of their minds, and we made a few mistakes. I love where we are at right at this point.
Just remember that Zona had the Zags down big at the half last night. There are 2 halves to a game.

No Gonzaga isn't giving it to us, because Duke will take it from them the next 20 min. We are in great shape after that first 20 min.
This is the first true team they have played and Duke is playing very young in the first half, but this is only the 6th game of this teams college career. They have to grow but they are definitely not unbeatable as the media has made it seem

Big shot by Tre but we look tired. You can see it on both ends. No cutting on offense and trying to do everything 1on1. We need Cam to score this half. Other than the 2 free throws I think he is scoreless
more experience and time together is paying off for the Zags...helps to shoot 65% also. These are the types of teams that go far in March....good to see one early in the season so our guys see what it takes to beat them. We can still pull this out though.
I expect we will still win....Gonzaga's been taking the tougher shots and been making them. That ends next half.
Yes this time last year, we thought we were gonna lose to Texas and Florida and we came back in dramatic fashion and won those games. Hopefully we can repeat tonight!

I’m relieved we’re only down 8 because how they were executing offensively, it could have easily been a lot more. Bolden is giving his all out there, but Gonzaga is just a tough matchup for him with how they’re able to spread the floor. We might have to go more with Javin in the second half. If we need more offense then who knows, our lineup of death with Zion at the 5 might even be a possibility.
Not tired legs but prolly tired mentally that’s where it shows, no intensity from our team, but Coach makes adjustments better than anyone period
