Carolina is good but they've benefited so much from their favorable schedule it's hard to know how good.

I do know they aren't some juggernaut, and that our best beats their best. We need to get back on defense, even after made baskets, as their secondary break is one of their staples. They score too many easy buckets. If we do that and rebound I think we win by 8 or so.

Zion back makes such an enormous difference. Hell we didn't even play well overall last night but if we didn't turn the ball over like it was a team hobby we win by 20.

In a sense, UNC is kind of playing with house money tonight. They've already beat Duke twice this season, albeit with Zion sitting on the bench. Now, everyone and their brother and sister are being inundated with Zion stories on TV, digitally, online and in print. Meanwhile, UNC has quietly gone about their business and rattled off 14 out of 15 and a lot of people aren't expecting them to win.

He's a threat whether you think he is or not. If he wasn't a threat he wouldn't be averaging mid-teens.

Now, you used the word consistent. That's my issue with him....and Tre. Their overall games over the last month haven't elevated enough, IMO. At times they do....like last night, after being pretty brutal for 30 minutes, Tre was more calm and composed down the stretch, hitting some tough runners, knocking down a perimeter jumper and making free throws.

In the first half six days ago Cam dominated and was the reason we led at the half. Now, I don't expect that every game....but I want him being a factor. He disappears at times, but he's always a threat. That's not even up for debate.

I think we all are....because we feel as if we have something (more) to lose. Every Duke fan would be a lot looser today if we had already beat them twice, or even once, for that matter. Like I said in another post...UNC kind of has the luxury of feeling like they're playing with house money.

I agree I loved Tre driving. What I loved more is that he saw a three go down...maybe I’m a little too hard on Cam but we need more of those 3’s to go down. I love his defense though

I think part of the problem is we need to stop thinking Cam's role is that of a 3pt specialist. He's not. He's not even shooting 35% which even then is low for what most people would consider 3pt specialist, imo. Look at games in conference play where he scored double digit points and check out his 3pt percentages in them; he isn't scoring bunches in those games because he's unstoppable from the arch. Cam is a good 3pt shooter like every couple games or so, and he's a good jump shooter/attacker every couple games or so. And I think that's sort of his problem in his journey right now - he's still trying to figure out his role and what kind of player he is. He's still just very raw.

I disagree with someone saying that Cam isn't a threat; he is definitely. But he's not a 3pt specialist.
