Just got word Rocky Shelton, Duke LB, is back on roster and member of team again.He was on suspension last season and SORELY MISSED! He's extremely talented, and this is a huge boost!

actually just the same. rocky stayed at the university and spent a year trying to get qualified again. props to him for the effort.
DI I would agree with @surfdevil on this. However who's to say Rocky would have stayed on for sure after getting his academics in order?? Of course there's a possibility he could have been quite limited in his academic options to transfer.
Bottom line I think you will see even AN IMPROVED Rocky Shelton. Why? He's under MUCH BETTER COACHING NOW!!

A very close friend of mine is pretty senior at Avon Old Farms, the prep school Evan Deckers (our transfer long snapper from UMass) went to. He said Deckers is automatic on his snaps, and is an even better kid than a player. He said we should be pretty excited about getting him…
It's a very important position we tend to take for granted until a few bad snaps. Glad we have Evan, and sounds like a good Duke type kid!

I did a check and we have offered along with cheater u, NCSU,Georgia, Ohio St. LSU, Penn St MSU and even Elon but what have they got to lose. Elon is 15 minutescfrom his home. I've seen pictures of him of him as a freshman and he already is built like a college player. Thick biceps and shoulders. A little like Bo Jackson but not comparing him to Bo. I would post a picture nut don't know how. I imagine all the top programs will get involved his junior year. What a great one to get. It will take a miracle.

I was stuck in Greensboro Friday afternoon. A&T was on the practice field. I'm always amazed by how many players on the field under 200 pounds. Has nothing to do with Duke, but a reminder that for 75% of players, speed is more important than bulk
a couple of good interviews on you tube from eli pancol and dewayne carter. both guys comment on how different things are now. they both say the team is bigger, stronger and faster due to the strength and conditioning push plus better attention to nutrition. both guys look great in these clips so i kinda believe them.

I like signing a couple of Ivy League guys...particularly on the OL. My Tar Heels have a grad transfer from Harvard. It will bring some diversity to the UNC team. That's a lot of open scholarships for Duke. If you can sign 4 transfer starters it could be a good season
