Zion makes his NBA debut on ESPN tonight at 9:30 pm EST vs. San Antonio!

Let’s make this the highest rated game in the NBA this season!

Call your neighbors and tell them to turn their TeeVee machines on at that time!

I know he is excited. That's what this is truly about.......a great kid, who is about to have his dreams realized. Glad he is a part of the brotherhood and I hope he has a blast and stays healthy.

This is going to be great! I will be watching for sure!

I am so glad they decided to let him play again this year unlike what many had said they thought he should sit. This will be huge for his growth as this will allow him to get the speed of the game and flow down as he prepares for a great 2nd year over the summer.

Can’t wait to see him in action tonight! Great for him to be able to play and realize his dreams... the joy and excitement he plays with to go along with his personality make him as special as his talents to me

I wouldn't miss this for the world! There is only one thing that can stop Zion from being a huge star in the NBA, and we all know what that is. He is truly special.

I think one of the most astonishing plays that I ever saw Zion make (up there with the incredible
Virginia block) is this play here.

Unfreakin' real!!!

And I'm a little partial to the Calipari dunk.

You know it’s special because my Mom (not an NBA fan) knows this is his first game and is going to be watching it.. she somehow knew when he was coming back before I did.

Also, I just thought of a comparison for Zion being Shawn Marion.. I haven’t heard/seen anyone make that comparison.. could you guys see that? In his prime, Marion averaged 22ppg, 12rbg, 2apg, 2spg, 2bpg and shot over 50% fg & hit slightly more than 1 three a game at 33%.. I could see Zion putting up similar stats to that a season or 2 from now.

I think he’s special in every sense of the word. My wife made the comment that she hoped he could remain humble. He just seems so genuine, I think that’s what everyone likes, at least I sure do

Oh and there will be 5 other former Dukies in the house tonight (4 playing/1 in the front office).

Could you guys imagine the sheer amount of pressure he must be feeling? 19 year old kid and one of the most anticipated debuts of all time, regardless of sport. Especially in this day and age when there are so many eyes on him. Crazy to think about.

He doesn’t look to be in the same shape he was at Duke. I wonder if they chose to bulk him up, or if it will change as he gets more time in.
