This team plays some of the best defense I have seen during the season. Absolutely destroying Iona.
I am going to give this thread a bump. Our ladies are playing again tonight at 9 pm against Colorado in the Second Round on ESPNU. We're all bummed out, but these women are playing some damn good ball and deserve our support.

Man, if this team had consistent offensive output we would be almost unstoppable with how Duke plays D.

Well, it was a great season. I feel like Kara has us headed in the right direction. We had our chances in regulation, and made some poor decisions with the ball late. Being offensively challenged all year was what I thought would end our season, and it did. This sucks. I'm so freaking bummed about basketball right now, though. But I know the future is bright for both the men's and women's teams.
I need to stop getting so invested in the sports teams I follow. I get too upset.

Caitlin Clark is doing things we've rarely seen in our lifetime. I hope Iowa and this young lady hoist a trophy on Sunday. What a performance, back-to-back 41-point performances. She's so damn good.
That girl is amazing. Refs were letting SC play like the Tennessee men. So glad they won. You would think coaches would play a box and one on her.I might play a triangle and 2 …double teaming her.

I happened to be sitting at a casino bar in January 2022 and they put an Iowa women's game on TV. There's this Caitlin Clark who I never heard of making shots from the logo! Since then I've followed her career and she is really something. A rare blend of talent, toughness, some attitude and every shot and pass in the book. And she soaks up the limelight!
College basketball would be crazy to let her leave after this year. There's going to be a generation of girls growing up wanting to be Caitlin Clark.
