joseph is a really good player but i would be shocked if he took the step down to duke football. a kid like this transfers to go to the bright lights normally.

In the offensive coordinator process, Duke is close to announcing a hire. Should be finalized and announced this week -- maybe as early as today, but likely won't be that soon.

man anthony looks good in those clips on the front page. i got him winning 4 out of 5 of those rushes and i have seen another vid where he gets a qb sack in a full scrimmage.

several press/evaluator guys at the all american game are tweeting out that anthony is the sleeper of the camp! he is making an impression. one guy rusty mansell @mansell247 posted a clip of vincent destroying an offensive lineman and putting him on his back at the qb dummy. expect rivals to drop his rating accordingly (sarcasm)

as people have said between anthony and williams (add in hall from last year) and we have the best de prospects we have gotten in a long time. they all have great size and potential and in 2-3 years we will have the chance of all-acc bookend de's

Another really good rundown surf. Thanks very much. It's a shame we couldn't keep Gary out of the portal, at least till dust had settled on coaching change.
Counting Gary I think we have 4 defensive guys in the transfer portal. I wonder if they are doing any 2nd guessing now that we've brought in one of the best defensive guys in America as our new leader???

That’s absolutely tremendous news. I am really getting excited about next year. I know Spring practice is usually accompanied with lots of positive reports, surprise developments in some players, optimism about the upcoming season, etc., but I’m nonetheless anxious to see how it plays out this year. In particular, i won’t be surprised if there are some positional changes for our personnel.
FYI lots of offers rolling out, not surprising the bulk of which are on the defensive side of the ball.
Everybody has a plan till they are punched in the face. I'm ready to see the Duke defense do some punching.
