No clue on the above question. Probably not a big guy. I'll just say Jeff Mullins.

Wasn’t Mullins . One New Year’s Eve due to missing curfew Coach Bubas suspended 4 starters and 5 top subs for an upcoming game versus Penn State. This player had a reputation of frequenting The Stallion Club on Cornwallis Rd but known as a loner he did not go out w teammates that night. Versus Penn State there were 4 unheard of players plus this player. C B Claiborne played the first ever minutes for a Duke black player. The lone regular starter scored 38 points and Duke won the game. Rumor has it Bubas had Bob Matheson sit behind the bench in case he was needed to suit up.
I think it was 88-84. I worked many hours at Duke game room . Verge was runner up in Duke pool championship. After ABA he became a teaching tennis pro. Read he once coached team at Seton Hall. In high school at Seagirt NJ he averaged 40 Pts a game and hit winning shot to win state title. Cannot understand why he does not have jersey retired.JJ finally broke his scoring average record but if Verga could have played as freshman and had 3 pt line he may have scored close to 3000 pts.
G-man it is @dukedevilz and you are up! OFCMike Gminski?
UCONN. OFC
Stanford ??
UCLA?
You got it! Stanford leads the way with 122 NCAA Championships
And UCLA is in 2nd with 118 titles.
That is correct, you are up NCirish. On a 2 - 8 Notre Dame team.Paul Horning
That’s right sky. I think he won 4 rings.
The previous question should have had Boozer in the answer, in place of Battier (2002 season - all 3 were 1st Team All conference, which I believe was unprecedented). Just an FYI.
Thanks for clarifying that. The previous question should have had Boozer in the answer, in place of Battier (2002 season - all 3 were 1st Team All conference, which I believe was unprecedented). Just an FYI.
