I did know the years hart, Scout's honor. I just missed that part of the question for some reason.

Is Pete Maravich one of the 1000 point scores? I'm fairly certain Guru Gary is the win shares answer. Sky will back me up!![]()
We need to use the 1st. question as the official one to get a winner to ask the next question. Believe me when I say that if there a multiple questions going on its gonna be kaos. OFC
Yeah its getting confusing, and what about when 2 folks get 2 parts of an answer??? OFC
I agree but how to solve it I don't know. Right now I'm not sure if either of the current questions have been answered. That's what happens when you have multiple questions with multiple answers going on. Let's open it up to the guys who play the trivia game. Suggestions? What should we do? OFC
Well I think on multi-answer questions we need to clarify something: if someone for instance gets the right name or subject, etc and another person gets the year(s), sport or whatever, we need to decide who is up next between those two folks......Or better yet the questions could just be ONE ANSWER instead of MULTI-ANSWER....What do you guys think??? OFC
That would take care of it. That's the we played it when it 1st started 2 or 3 off seasons ago. I do like the 24 hour rule though. There are exceptions to that. Things happen when a poster may not be able to get back in 24 hours but that doesn't happen a lot. Exactly where do we stand right now on the win shares question ? Remember the second question doesn't apply. OFC
Sky,everyone respects you, and you really created the fun game so whatever you think- I am sure folks will approve! As far as the "win-shares" question, the answers are flying. I am glad you deleted the 2nd question, because as you said it makes for "chaos." OFC
Okay one question at a time. Some questions can have multiple answers for example how many Duke players have been national defensive player of the year and name them which is reasonable to anewer but when you add what year it was and what player and school he played for came in second it gets complicated.I started this for a fun thing during the off season a few years ago for those who are into trivia. I know all posters don't participate and that's okay. I also like to keep the game moving as most of you know. Just have fun guys. That's what I try to do on all topics. I admit I can get a little off base but the reason I started posting years ago was because of some of the HOF posters we had back then who many are still posting. As I like to say to new posters have fun and don't take ourselves too serious. They are way too many issues going on in the world today that we need to take serious. Love this board and the posters. For win shares David West from Garner NC who played for Xavier
We need to use the 1st. question as the official one to get a winner to ask the next question. Believe me when I say that if there a multiple questions going on its gonna be kaos. OFC
Correct! You're up, acchoops!
And here are the guys that have eclipsed the 1,000 point barrier in the last 40 years:
1. Bo Kimble, 1131 points, 1989-1990, Loyola Marymount
2. Hersey Hawkins, 1125 points, 1987-1988, Bradley
3. Jimmer Fredette, 1068 points, 2010-2011, BYU
4. Kevin Bradshaw, 1054 points, 1990-1991, US International
5. Glenn Robinson, 1030 points, 1993-1994, Purdue
6. Hank Gathers, 1015 points, 1988-1989, Loyola Marymount
David West isn't a name that most people think of - and it didn't seem like anyone was getting it, even with the clues. I don't think it's particularly confusing, to be honest. In this scenario it's whoever gets one of the two questions first. I'd rather have a quick turnover of 4-6 hours between questions than sit on the same question for two days. That was my reasoning. But I'll try to stick to one question at a time in the future.
