Duke by two and Flip has a better over all game then the first one .
A great opportunity to sweep them, take back the rivalry, and put them on the wrong side of the bubble. Both teams have looked better lately, especially us. Need Lively to stay on the court for 25 minutes. If Roach and Proctor continue our good play I like our chances, but this one could go either way.

I think Duke wins in a close game. It is time for Love and company to shoot themselves out of a ball game. It would be an upset, but the Cheats revert back to bad habits.
They're favored, but all the pressure is on them. Duke in one so tight that I will stick a quarter up my ass at the start, and I'll crap out two dimes and a nickel by the end.
I think it’s gonna be a dog fight back and forth. I’m not worried about our front court, they just need to do their thing. Roach and Proctor have been playing very well. Their play will decide the game tonight one way or the other. I like our growing confidence and I think we take care of business.

Something is missing in this UNC team, and I can't quite put my finger on it. It's not just that Mansk is gone, he wasn't THAT good. Obviously they are talented, but they don't seem to have the same fire they had down the stretch last year. You'd think they would have a chip on their shoulder after blowing that lead in the title game, but they have played like they were happy to get that far. If that changes tonight, we are in trouble. I think tonight is more about them than us. If they remain the same team we should win. But if they flip a switch and become last year's team then I think they win. Maybe they don't play well being the hunted. Maybe they tightened up like we did in our last two games against them.
We win. Whitehead (who was out w/injury 1st game) is the difference maker. Duke, 69-62.

Well, there just may have been truth to the rumors about friction between Love and a teammate over a girl. As far as I know that rumor was not started by opposing fans but came directly from Cheat boards. I kinda agree with you. They do miss Manek but that alone doesn't explain their troubles.
Guard play and referees. Worried Lively will be called for a foul on the opening tip. We lose if they shoot more than 18 free throws.
Jay Williams says UNC can win the national title. Why do our former guys feel the need to slobber all over them? Their guys certainly don't do it to us. There should be an option to be able to hear the game without announcers. I don't think I can take 3 hours of Bilas and Vitale. Are they doing the game?

I love Ryan Young, but if he plays more than 25 minutes we might be cooked. Could use a couple of 3s from Grandison.
Yup agreed. Let Ryan body up on Bacot and wear on him for 12-14 minutes to spell Lively and keep him out of foul trouble. Ryan is a solid contributor who IMHO knows his role on this team. And I don’t think he’s an offensive liability. He gets a good number of O rebounds, he’s got good post moves and he’s a good FT shooter.

If Love/Davis hit the 3 ball we are in trouble...if they have a typical night vs on fire we win. We cannot go 2-20 from 3 though...I think we have improved since the last game...they've had a good run...going to be a close game

He’s resigned for the year since we’ve been winning. He will be back next year if we lose a couple games early and then gift us all with his supreme knowledge of the game of basketball. He just needs to shut the hell up and stick with his swimming lessons.
