Greatest potential team ever

Figured we could use a fun thread so I will pose a question. You get 2 guys back from any team we had the following year. (That had eligibility left) What would be our greatest team ever?
For me I would add Brand and Maggette to the 2000 team.
Jason Williams
Corey Maggette
Battier
Boozer
Brand
Bench Dunleavy, Nate James and Carrawell.
No way that team doesn't hang a banner.

Proud of this team and the coaches

Just want to say how proud I am of this team and the way our coaches turned the season around. We didn’t have the ending we wanted, but going 27-9 in his first year after Coach K and damn near undefeated with all healthy starters (it will always be FU refs at Virginia), the program is in great hands with Coach Scheyer.

Now we await the futures of those who are going to the NBA and to see who all will be back. No need to tear down these kids who competed all season long. Encourage them. The future is bright, Duke fans!

See ya next season!

Since our region is done....

What do you guys think of our chances if we had beat Thugassee? How do you all think how we would have done against FAU? For those that think we would have beat them, how would we have done against Kansas State?

How would our defense done against FAU? We had the size but can we score enough to keep up? After watching FAU, I don't think we would have beat them. They're quick, deep and extremely athletic.

NCAAT - 2nd round vs. Tennessee

Firing up a separate thread for tomorrow's game against Tennessee.

It's a 2:40 start on CBS.

Have seen that Duke opened as a 2-3-point favorite today.

Briefly on Tennessee: They looked like one of the best teams in the country through January, when they were 18-3. Had wins over Kansas, USC, Maryland, Texas. And then ... Rick Barnes, man. Lost 5 of 7 to start February, and then lost their point guard Zakai Zeigler to a torn ACL just a few weeks ago.

I'll have more coverage from down here, an in-depth preview and a sidebar, later today.

What is your favorite video game?

Man I need a break from basketball. Tough loss but it was a fun year and Jon did a good job. What games do you play? What are your favorites? Do you play on line? Do you like old or new games?
Myself I'm an 80's kid. So Super Mario All Stars/World, Zelda, Metroid and Super Castlevania. I love old first person shooters like Doom, Quake and Castle Wolfenstein. Platformers like Crash Bandicoot. Racing games like Waverace 64 and Ridge Racer and Burnout. Scary games like Resident Evil 2 and Silent Hill. Fighting games like Marvel vs Capcom and Tekken. I have an XBox 360 but lately I am playing a lot of pre-2000 games, even Atari and Sonic. If I had to pick one favorite game it would be Doom or Super Mario World.

Official NCAA tournament thread day 3

Can’t believe we’re down to 32 teams already.. let’s hope for another exciting day. What do y’all expect?

I see more upsets. I think furman beats San Diego St.

Arkansas and Auburn will both challenge 1 seeds in Kansas and Houston with auburn having a decent shot at the win.

The way Penn st is playing they could make that a game and hopefully northwestern shows up big
