Virginia is up 31-28 with 14:39 left in the game but Perrantes and Brogdon for Virginia just collided head to head and both were down on the floor for a long time. They both got up and walked off the court with assistance but both had towels on some part of their head. When Perrantes sat up, the front of his jersey was covered with blood. Hopefully they'll both be ok and their injuries are minor and they don't have concussions.

FSU held to 0 field golas for the final 10 1/2 minutes of the game but UVA still only won by 10.

Been saying all year that Uva is the crappiest unbeatable team of all time...Duke is the only team that stepped up and made enough plays to beat them, and every game their opponent just needed to step up and make a few plays and the Cavs could have like 10 losses. It unreal how they escape every single game when barely scoring 50 every single game. Frustrating

I think you are selling UVA a little short. They are pretty stinking tough and deserve the record they have.

They're definitely a really good team. I just think it's interesting that they didn't beat FSU by at least 20 after holding them to no field goals and not too many made free throws either over the final 10 1/2 minutes of the game. Luckily for them that it doesn't look like Perrantes' and Brogdon's injuries from their head on collision are too serious because Brgogdon returned to the game with a bandage over his eye and Perrantes eventually returned to the bench but didn't play any for the rest of the game and his nose looked like he had just been in a fight (for the record I'm not trying to be funny or make light of what happened just describing how bad his nose looked after the collision) and he continued to hold a towel over his nose for a lot of the remainder of the game. If either Brogdon or Perrantes or both miss any games after colliding today it will really hurt UVA down the stretch of their final refusal season games because that will leave them missing 2 or 3 of their top scorers with Anderson already being out.

Beating a team by ten with UVA's style of play is like holding a 15-20 point lead. That's why Duke's comeback was so impressive.

I agree in a way with shia. Bennett is obviously covering flaws with his team with that pack line D. They just play it so well, they dictate the flow of the game and disrupt what you try to do. K found the temporary answer which was to either shoot them out of it or completely beat them down the floor before they set up. UVA will lose again to a capable team.

Note that our conference SOS is 10th, while theirs is 45th. That matters.

UVA is just a tough, disciplined team. We were fortunate to nail shots at the end. In all 3 of our losses, the other team nailed 3's at the end. UVA closes well.

UVA can flat out play defense, if we meet in ACCT & Andersen is still out - like our chances again. Our road win at UVA just keeps looking better.

Virginia is a tough nosed group. They may not win pretty, but they win, and make your team look bad in the process. The only time I've seen them flustered a little was in the Duke game...and not just at the end, but also in the first half when Duke was beating them down the court and scoring before they could set up their defense. But there are not many teams like Duke.

UVA will struggle in the big dance against a team that can run and score in transition like Duke. Not many can, but I think someone will be a match up nightmare for them. Simply because the ACC always gets a crap draw in the bracket. Every single team every year is matched up against the kind of squad that can beat them. It may not always happen in the first game, but it seems that it is always laid out that way.
