Name the greatest Dukie ever from Cherryville NC.
Hint. 899 consecutive games.
You got it. What a great guy. Did not realize he was only 62 when he died.
Glad a scholarship was funded in his name. Know who was the first recipient?
Crawford Palmer was the first and Marty Clark was second.
9 final fours . Died young from lung cancer.
Read somewhere that he lived in Card Gym. Surely that is not correct.
Read that he helped poor families each Christmas and bought them presents.
Heck of a guy.
Who's up. OFC
When Laettner didn’t wear his own game shoes, who’s did he wear?
Dick Groat OFC
Sky was figuring you would be right on it!!! Good job sir and YOU are up!
How about a question with a twist. It is fictiiona and I got the idea because of the Chuck Norris thread. I feel some of you watched and are still watching reruns of Walker, Texas Ranger. Cordell Walker's , Norris' character partner and fellow ranger Jimmy Trevette played by Clarence Gilyard Jr, did not start out to be a Texas Ranger. He was a NFL player whose career ended because of an injury. Name the NFL team, his position and the injury. Longtime Walker fans should know and those who did not watch the show can give some good guesses. OFC
I just saw this because I haven’t been checking the board much the last couple of days while I was at Myrtle Beach. Is it too late to answer this question? If not, he played wide receiver for the Cowboys and his career ended when he blew out his knee after getting hit after catching a pass near the sideline. How about a question with a twist.
