He threw a 4 guard lineup before the game even started. Everyone here knows a 4 guard lineup isn’t it for this team. Scheyer gave Pitt the early lead and momentum. We went down big early on and struggled throughout the game because of it
Mitchell is so important to this team. We are thin up front. Stewart and TJ will get there but they are not ready for prime time right now. He's our only legit big wing slasher.
Nobody talked shit….make an adjustment to the pick and roll in forty minutes….Pitt ran one play the entire game….

Just a horrible lose you can’t have, this plus the GT and Arkansas lose will cause Duke to get a worse seed. Obviously they are a different team with Roach and Mitchell but you can’t lose to Pitt at home. Will probably cost Duke the ACC in the end too.

Even down 2 guys, this is a bad home loss. Not good for the selection Sunday resume. And the tough games are still to come. We need to get healthy.
Proctor missing that first free throw is the icing on the cake. Dudes a huge disappointment. Not sure he’s draftable this year, even in a bad draft.

Yeah, I’ve been disappointed in his play this year except for the GT home game.
We have lost to two 2-5 teams in the conference….just not good….

Some are here acting like we weren't down two starters tonight and they weren't hitting well-defended 3s like the Warriors.

Watch the game….It is what it is….Scheyer didn’t make a defensive adjustment to the one play Pitt ran continually….its not controversial it’s just what happened….
Its was a terrible game for him…he didn’t help the team today.

Scheyer could have pulled this one out with just a little bit of basketball and coaching IQ.
No doubt and that was a big reason. However, this is a bad L for the resume. Type of loss that gets you a 5-6 seed.
Time to get healthy, and we know this team is way better than this fully healthy.
I do think this loss will be looked at differently by the committee, though. They usually consider when a team is down key guys in a loss.
We will need all hands on deck to beat the boys in baby blue. Unfortunately they look very good.
That damn committe didn't take in account the Lee Cassel screw job last year lol. Down two starters should be taken into consideration but this is a bad loss at home.
This was a 1-5 Pitt team. Injuries only get you so far with the committee.
He was getting tons of draft hype back in Australia. He was a projected lottery pick in the 2023 NBA when he was expected to turn pro after high school.
Scheyer doesn't want the blowback on the recruiting trail. He's gotta get Proctor into the 2024 draft.
Jeff and ACC... I'm giving Pitt their credit. Furthermore, two starters were pissed off on the bench.

Proctor is still on most mock drafts, although he may start slipping if he doesn't finish strong. The NBA likes his size.
They played two grown men and a roster that believes in Jeff. Good Game for DUKE. You peak in February...
