I'm Mr anti OAD but Cooper should go. Anyone in the lottery should go. The #1 pick cannot compete with NIL. A guy like Evans or Proctor maybe. Guys in the second round are taking a huge gamble, like Keels, Hurt, Duval, Frank Jackson, etc. They are all in the G league.

The best passing Duke team I’ve seen. What a thing of beauty. They took it to another gear.

I will admit, I got a little nervous when they cut it to 7 to start the half. @christophero though was calm. He lit a cigarette with the one he was smoking.
I was. This team is really good. The only reason I am not saying we will cut the nets down is that 99 was the biggest disappointment of my sports life. That was brutal. Thank God we won 2 years later. It was also after a time (the mid 90's) when North Carolina was kicking our *** on a regular basis. It's us and Auburn right now.

Damn. It would be worth it. Still think he should go pro. Proctor, Evans, Harris, Brown and Pat back would be huge. That seems optimistic though. Who knows.

After the season ends, business wise it’s a no brainer Flagg, Knueppel, and Maluach should declare for the draft. Their stocks will never be higher.

Proctor and Evans should return for their respective Senior and Sophomore Campaigns.
Evan’s would benefit so much from a sophomore year. Gain some weight and play along side the boozer twins.

I could see Evans and Proctor testing the waters. I imagine Evans would test well.

Umm…Wow……..

🤷🏻‍♂️

I was at the game in Winston, first time going back to Joel since the 1992 game. These aren’t the two teams from that game as one has seriously taken off like an atom bomb.

👏🏻🫵🏻 Undefeated in Cameron. 1st place share and these kids are so dialed in! ❤️🏆 Onward to Chapel Hill..

No matter how great a team and how excited you can be as a fan, until the last buzzer sounds you have to go with the field until proven otherwise. For all the amazing players, legacies and teams at the blue bloods, the NC ratio to seasons played and Final Fours visited is proof positive of how hard it is to get the gold. Sure a few have defied that, UCLA under Wooden, The f!%**G! Huskies in just seven freakin trips. 🙄,( more so than the 6-7 was making it look frustratingly easy the last two years, that’s just not supposed to happen in the Big Dance.) Indiana claimed 5 in 8 trips I believe. But there aren’t many to point to. It may be the toughest thing to win in sports. 🏀

This Duke team has a great shot though thanks to the superb roster construction the staff did. They covered a lot of bases which is why I’ll be shocked if Jon has a better team than this. The stars can’t always line up where you get those bases covered. That Zion team had so much hype, but when do teams who rank among the worst in Division 1 at shooting the three win the title? That was the fatal flaw of that squad that K wasn’t able to cover. If Kennard stayed one more year, that would have been covered. Hence, tough to get every star to line up even when you have some great players.
