New Orleans vs. Boston tonight @ 6pm EST on ESPN

Tatum dropped 40 a few weeks ago against the Pels, Frank Jackson had a game high for NO with 22. Hope everyone suits up and nobody gets injured.

A lot of young basketball players will be watching this game tonight. As a Duke fan, I feel very comfortable with that.

I wish Jah was getting some minutes. He had some big games for them this season.

Zion getting better and better. 21/11 boards in 27 min on 9-16 shooting. His elevator just goes to a different floor even in the NBA....love it
I don’t really watch much NBA but I decided to watch the game and I can’t remember the specifics because my memory sucks but they said that Zion is the first rookie in Pelicans history to have 20/10 in a particular situation. Maybe someone else that watched the game will remember the full details of what they said.

What I don't like is the times when Zion is simply not moving for rebounds or to get open. I remember this from last year that when he would get tired he would just stand around. He is a powerful presence but he's got to get into better shape. I don't know if a weight loss is necessary but his legs and lungs have to be in better shape to be able to play a productive 30+ minutes. If he can keep his motor running that long, he'll be a 25/12 player right away.

There is a difference between just being in shape and being in basketball shape. The latter takes a lot of playing time against real competition. I don't remember him dogging it. I do remember K subbing for him when he got tired. Give him time to reach full speed and endurance.

What a fun player to watch. I agree on the conditioning comments, and it's completely understandable. There always will be Zion naysayers. Before he came to Duke he was a just a dunker playing against kids 6 inches shorter and he would crumble against D1 college competition. Wrong! In NBA preseason.....it's only preseason, no way he puts up numbers like this against regular season talent. I think in three short games he has already proven them wrong. Once he's in game shape the league is on notice.

Zion's per 36 minute stats are off the charts. He's averaging right around a point a minute. Once he gets in shape and can play 30+ minutes, he's literally gonna put up MVP type numbers....as a rookie.

He is living up to the hype for sure! But he HAS to get his FT% up to at least 65-69%, or else he’s going to be leaving a ton of points on the table.

I think Zion's shot looks better but yesterday he really struggled. However Ingram is a good example of a guy who became a lot better shooter, including foul shooting, once he got to the pros so I'm confident Zion will get there also. Which will make him downright flawless.

He's gonna have some bad games, make some poor decisions and if he stays healthy he's the one that will sell out all of the places he plays at. He gonna be a great one. Come free agent time it's no telling what will be offered but lnowing Zion and if the Pelicans make an effort to surround him I wouldn't be surprised if he stays even though other teams may offer more.
