New assistant coach hired

Possibly. Look at his previous positions and it will explain somewhat his role at DUKE.
Seems like he’s been a good recruiter for the level of the college that he was at, and did a decent job developing the big men. There is also a Chicago connection between him and Scheyer. Still think that we could get a better replacement for Amile. Kidly seems like a solid hire for most Power 5 schools that aren’t Blue Bloods or consistent top 10 teams. May be totally wrong on this one, but when you’re Duke, the only assistant coach hires that are not from the Brotherhood should have a much better resume including either being an assistant coach & recruiter from a top ten program or former HC at mid-major. Current assistant coach in the NBA could be on the list as well.

Ooooweee Bmbritt... you are a tough sell. It's absolutely a Chi - Town connection. It's all about recruiting. There are moments you need a different voice when you walk into that dining room or kitchen or gym. Hopefully, this will be a good hire.

Jon thinks he’ll fit as an assistant, so that’s good enough for me. Plus, where a guy has coached at isn’t a true gauge on his knowledge.

K started at West Point.
