I was thinking the same thing. Him and Elmore were not the ideal pair for Duke games, but I agree with everything you said. Him mixing up the Plumlee brothers and calling them "Plumtrees" is still funny and it was all I could think of when they were talking to him last night.

My impression is that ESPN squeezed him out. All the press releases emphasized he was leaving ESPN as opposed to retiring on his own.
