A few interesting things to look at in here. We are ranked #2 to Kentucky’s #7 but are only separated by one spot in both offense and defense. Should be quite a game.
I feel like most of the time the teams with more experienced returning players are ranked higher on this list as they have actual college stats to go on so they must be ranking our freshmen very highly (no surprise there) for us to be no. 2. Projecting us as the no. 5 defense is also somewhat exciting, let’s hope it plays out that way.
The ACC is represented very well with The Cheats, UVA, and Syracuse all in the top 10 and all ranked higher than they are in the preseason AP poll.
