Favorite THR Quotes....

Our hopes were really strong during the NBA finals last season apparently. : )

I do hope that every UNC player struggles, on the court. However I wish them nothing but success and happiness away from the court. Most of these kids we try and tare down are usually really good people.

"Good people" in many cases cheated out of a meaningful education that would prepare them for later life....

"Don't blame other UNC posters for my position. In fact, many UNC posters disagree with my position and have stated so. Bottomline, I think Giles camp will wise up ( if not already) look at this from a long term standpoint. If Giles can get a good rookie contract (lotto pick) and invest the money wisely, he could be set for life. By putting 5 million in a lifetime income annuity with a guaranteed 7% annual credit until age 30 would generate significant monthly income for "LIFE" beginning by age 30. If Giles blows out his knee playing for Duke this season, he may never play an NBA game. My insurance network tells me that Giles is a having a major problem securing insurance coverage. It would be wise to forget about winning the immediate battle and look to win the war. K only thinks about himself and he will go down in history as the most selfish college basketball coach ever. Not under the same circumstances as Joe Paterno's shame, but there will be a former Duke player that will write a book exposing K of his bad deeds and tactics and the book will be a best seller. I wish the kid a full recovery and the chances of that happening is much better by sitting out this year. Rushing back to play in 6 weeks is a bad decision."

Steat is an absolute POS!!

As a financial advisor Steat should know that a lotto pick will possibly gross a max of about three million per year which after taxes and agent fees means that he nets 1.25 million, which is a far sight of the 5 million that he needs to set him up for life.

He's creating the hypotheticals, not you. Back off. He can choose any fictional amount he wants

dr. steat is an amazing man. A dr., a college recruiting expert, a financial expert and an insurance expert. I've always believed hof coach roy williams is the most interesting man in the world but dr.steat has surpassed that. OFC

I wish I could take credit for @absolutely nobody. So hilarious. And I'm pretty positive it's not @denniden.

You guys remember that ponarkel guy. Haven't heard from him in awhile. He was a great poster. One of the best ever on here. You think he's absolutely nobody do you. I wonder if The Donald might be good ole Dr. Steat himself just messing with us. OFC

If a pompous gasbag like Trump can run for President of the United States, so can I. And I will run a much better campaign, believe me.

Just to make sure that this doesn't get sidetracked, what does the last rant from DSuckr look like?

He's actually hasn't been posting anything too bad lately. THR is starting to meltdown a bit over Zion Williamson ditching late night with Roy for Western Kentucky's midnight madness. I expect that thread to get really good once gary and the other sunshine and rainbows posters get wind of it. Can't wait to see how this is spun as a good thing.

And some of them are getting pretty good.

From HeelFan58....

"Guys on other boards seem to think the WKU coach is pretty shady. I still don't think Williamson has any real interest."

And then dadika13....

"I'm so fed up with this crap. If WKU and other programs aren't playing by the rules then the freaking NCAA needs to do something about this. I feel like I'm in the movie Blue Chips."

Now it appears someone was just punking a few UNC fans and that Zion is indeed going to LNWR tonight. But it's funny how even with a made up rumor they immediately jumped on the "something is shady" train. It's like that's their only go-to move these days. Funny.

yeah, Evan Daniels tweeted that Zion would be visiting WKU this weekend and everyone lost it. Would be funny if he did indeed visit WKU, otherwise Evan Daniels has some explaining to do.

Someone going by RP12 expecting Marcus Paige to end up as one of the greatest coaches of all time since his NBA "career" is already fledgling. Hilarious.

"I'm in the minority in thinking that MP ends up on our bench a lot sooner than most. That said I hope he plays as long as he wants and transitions to coaching on his own terms. When that happens, his experience in fighting so hard to get to a FF and first hand knowledge of the margin between winning it all and heartbreak will just add to his passion, leadership, and understanding of the game to give him a chance to be an all time great."
