A great friend and Duke fan has passed away.

A great friend and Duke fan of mine passed away at 74. His name is Mark Robertson and is probably the best and biggest Duke fan I have ever known. He was a North Carolina high school football official for 43 years and a high school basketball official for 35 years. He officiated four N.C. state championship football games. He also was the clock operator for many years at Wallace Wade Stadium for the Duke football games. He was one of the nicest and cordial people Ihave ever known. Gonna miss him. OFC

Sorry to hear that, skysdad. I shall say a prayer for Mr. Robertson's family . I've always marveled that older men can referee football games and not get injured
