College baseball season always pops up on me -- here's a preview for Duke's season.

For the record: I always think college baseball teams that are young and unproven, with little expectations, tend to have the most-rewarding seasons. Duke certainly fits those categories this season.

I'll try to have coverage updated in this thread throughout the season. Until basketball season ends that's going to be fairly light, but I'll have deeper coverage as interest dictates.

I'm watching this young man play NBA Summer League, and I must say I wish he would've redshirt. Natural talent, decent attitude and good size at the wing for Duke. I wonder what really influenced the transfer???

I hope we go back to Virginia this season so he can get revenge on them too.

For charge/block, can we stop with the block for a defender not in perfect legal guarding position but the offensive player drives with no control whatsoever and is rewarded?

Was the flagrant foul rule put in in part to the incident between Flip and UM early in the ACC Championship game?

The airborn TO rule is a reversal to how it used to be. And i do not necessarily like using TOs to try and save a possession (Cheats can afford to do it. They will not use them anyway). Didn't Duke use 2-3 TOs to try and keep or gain possession of a loose ball in the 1998 loss to UK? If we would have had one more opportunity to call timeout durink UKs comeback. Also, didn't L'Ville use one or two timeouts to save possession during our comeback in 2019? Would Mack taking a turnover and saving the timeout made a difference?

I also wonder how many times in football, especially, using a timeout to avoid a delay of game is more detrimental than the five yard penalty.

Should be two flagrant ones and goodbye.

I do not mind more jersey numbers, perse, but we had a hard enough time with 0-5 from officials in D3...

Sad to see him go, was hoping he would help develop Reeves into a starter for us. I hope we can hire someone else who is just as good or better at developing players

Also, question, do y’all wanna see his replacement come from in-house (alum or promotion) or from outside the K tree (like Lucas)?

After a weekend visit with the Blue Devils, Bourdon has committed to Duke. Nice pickup here. Started his June with an official to Vanderbilt and had officials scheduled with Purdue and Stanford

Hey everyone, we are looking to part ways with Comcast. With internet and cable we are paying just over $300 a month which seems insane to me. Have any of you cut the cord successfully? If so, any tips?

We will likely keep internet but want to find a cheaper way to watch Duke bball and the occasional movie.

Gentlemen, can you give me some links to some good Duke Basketball Podcasts? I used to listen to one ( I think someone here was affiliated) that was great and very intelligent. It is my summertime research period and I want to stay current.
