Lots of top 6 players never make it. No way I can prove it, but I think that he will be a top 2 NBA starter for a good teamTop 6? That's nuts. Good college player... wouldn't be surprised if he never makes it in the NBA.
He's more of niche player. But his junior year he shot 40% from 3, 50% from the field. Battled some injuries this past year. He's not a star by any means. But he's a stretch 4 who can help a team be very successful.Mayer averaged 9 a game. Is he even draftable?
I’m not sure I follow either of thoseMost of these people are just guessing. Some of them have legit contact information though. Duke Nation is pretty accurate with his info. DBR too.
You should. Ryan from The Duke Nation is good people. DBR is a bunch of knowledgeable folks too. Devil's Den too. I just see so much out there that is fans just speculating with little to no inside knowledge.I’m not sure I follow either of those
Hadn't thought of it that way Lift. Makes a lot of sense. I just hope he can also hit from the perimeter, as we appeared to be lacking in that area last several years.I don't know, Scheierman looks slow to me with a low release. I'm hoping for a guy who can run the court and play defense for that position considering we'll have a number of scorers next year.
Tbh if keels ain’t back which he won’t be, might have to roll with what we gotWho's the next target now?
We are targeting Isiaih Mosley, who looks like a good target.Who's the next target now?
Phew. This kid is so slow and would be a massive hole on D....
In all honesty, I’m a quicker, more athletic Hurt lolHis highlights looked good. He looked like a quicker, more athletic Hurt.
24 hrs ago, he was the next Larry BirdPhew. This kid is so slow and would be a massive hole on D....
Very true here!!24 hrs ago, he was the next Larry Bird
Sounds like to me, Jon is saying to stay in the draft, but I could be wrong. I like Mosley as a potential guy, I think he fits what Duke needs."There's no substitution for Trevor Keels. We haven't even talked to Trevor about that. Our thing is to tell him to go full bore through the drafting process and do everything you can to make it."
If he's willing to wait on Keels then he must like Duke.Mosley said he wants to wait through May, so maybe he's waiting on Keels. But who knows.
I watched the presser, I took it as, Keels is genuinely on the fence but the advice he gave him is that if you’re going through the process go through it all the way, as if you are going to stay in. That’s what he was saying. So take that however you’d like but he’s being supportive of Keels. Nothing would surprise me.Sounds like to me, Jon is saying to stay in the draft, but I could be wrong.
