OT: Sports trivia. Part three.

Bob Bender was a transfer from Indiana's national title team in '76, and played on the Duke team that lost the natty to Ky in '78. One of the most famous transfers in Duke and college hoops history because he played for two different schools in natl championship games. @skysdad will back me up. Must be included-

The question has been answered. Now who gets to ask the next question? OFC

Btw, John Harrell who also played on that '78 Duke team transferred to the Blue Devils from North Carolina Central. Sadly John is no longer with us.

Sorry to be such a stickler, but it would appear theres more than six.....Let ged ask next question-

Hey Sky verify Bender please.... OFC

Bender transferred from Indiana. Great transfer who triggered one of the greatest lob passes and dunks in Duke basketball history to Gene Banks slamming on 7' 4" Ralph Sampson ( can someone put that video up again ) and I agree there was Duke basketball before Coach K and I'm happy I witnessed it. I would take a Bob Bender on my Duke baskeball team anytime. It's great to be an old fart. Hope you all get to be one someday. You know you never think about being an old fart until you become one and then it's too late. How's that for verification hart? :) OFC

Very good. I'm at work so I'll ask the first thing that popped into my head. Who is the running back for the Cincinnati Bengals who played very well on Sunday for the injured Joe mixon? He is best known in north Carolina for returning a punt for UNC for a TD to beat NC State. Probably 2012. Sorry skysdad
