OT: Sports trivia part 2.

I was going to say Papa Bear Halas, but he wasn't an Olympian. Only guy I can think of to meet all 3 would be Jim Thorpe?

It is Jim Thorpe. Had to believe because he was still competing in 1920. I googled NFL commisioners and there he was. OFC

With all the OAD, straight out of high school, how young is too young talk comes the next question.

At the ripe old age of 17, what Hall of Fame pitcher struck out 15 in route to a dominating win in his MLB debut ?

Bob Feller won the Triple Crown for pitchers in 1940 which a pitcher leads the league in wins, e.r.a. and strike outs. Lots of pitchers have accomplished this. Who was the last MLB pitcher to win the pitching Triple Crown ? OFC

I think its one of the above probably, but just for fun will venture further back...

Randy Johnson

I believe Kershaw also got the triple crown the same year as Verlander. So technically both answers are correct I think, but I’ll gladly take the next question.
Who was the last rookie to win a batting title?

Who was the 1st. MLB player to earn 1 million dollars in one year. He signed a contract worth 4 million dollars for 4 years. OFC

I've heard of it but several things are going through my mind. I'm gonna start off with something to do with the NHL. OFC
