Grew up watching him w/the 'Skins w/my dad. They lost a lot of high scoring games, but Sonny always put on a show! OFC

Sky you got it! During Thompson's Wolfpack career, THE DUNK was banned in college hoops....it was punishable by TECHNICAL FOUL, and obviously points taken off the board.
Senior day 1975, State was comfortably ahead of UNC Charlotte in final minutes, and Thompson decided to give WOLFPACK NATION YET ANOTHER THRILL: He Dunked The ball, and the Reynolds coliseum crowd went bananas! As Thompson said later, they gave me a TECHNICAL and A STANDING OVATION!
