The new polls are officially out. No change from last week as we're #4 in the AP and #5 in Coaches.

In addition, we're #5 in the RPI and #7 in the BPI.

These numbers starts to mean more as we move closer to Selection Sunday. It's hard to believe, but four weeks from now we'll all be filling out brackets.

AP & Coaches Poll

I read an article somewhere recently where it talked about Duke being one of only like 3-4 teams that have been ranked in the top 10 in the AP Poll, Cosches Poll, RPI and BPI throughout this season.

We're sitting in a pretty good position right now. Our team is playing well, and if we get by UNC on Wednesday...we've got a pretty good chance of running the table for the rest of the regular season (except perhaps for the game at Chapel Hill.)

OFC

Going to be tight for a #1 seed for Duke.

UVA, unless they fall apart, should have one. And, UK and the Zags should continue their run. UK is a lock for a #1 seed.

Duke has some tough games and really needs to nearly win out and get to the ACC title game. If they lose one more regular season game I would think they'd need to get to the ACC title game to have a shot at a #1 seed. If they win out in the regular season and if they make it to the semis in the ACC or the title game, they should be in for a #1 seed.

BPI weighs road games heavily, we are 1 seed as of now.
