Official Gameday thread- game 8- Duke Vs Purdont

I agree some of the rankings seem to rank these guys based on upside, athleticism, and how good of an NBA prospect they are. So you aren't always getting finished products, even in the top 10. Of course some of it has to do with guys staying and developing. Seems like 2 years may be the sweet spot for a lot of these guys. A guy like Timme, he doesn't seem to have improved from last year. Of course he doesn't have Holmgren as a frontcourt mate. Not sure he should have come back. Guys like Moore and Williams really helped their draft stock.

Williams did Moore coming back after his freshman year caused his stock to drop from early to late first round because you knew what type of player you were getting after his first three years at Duke. All recruits are based on their potential of what they can do at both the college and NBA level. So go above their rankings some never live up to their rankings .
