Also, if I were a Chapel Hill College fan I would just quietly enjoy my team and keep a low profile after what they got away with for 20 years of academic dirtiness. When the Kentucky fan was talking about the corruptness of the NCAA and getting down about the sport. Honestly, it was the Chapel Hill Scandal and how they ultimately escaped that gave me similar thoughts. When you see something like that you think "man College Sports are a cess pool." But I've regrouped and decided to focus on what I have enjoyed about it for 40 years of watching as opposed to the dark side of it all. I do miss the times when kids stayed longer.

Well, if we’re talking calendar year, then yes that one is in the lead for dumbest post of the year. However, it is only February, so I’m sure there’ll be plenty more in the running.

Unfortunately he doesn't have the talent to compete in this league, and it's becoming next to impossible to recruit said talent with the rampant cheating in Durham and other parts of the country.

Pretty obvious they are already worried, there is “Duke gets all the calls” thread on THR.
 
I’ve stated this before, they can’t take an @$$ whoopin like a man. They need excuses to justify why they lost. Same with you UK fans. They don’t have the Onions to look in the mirror and say, “Duke was just the better team”.

We all see blown calls during games, some are for us, some are against us. Refs are human and it kind of equals out IMO. Honestly the last time I truly felt a Duke loss was affected by officiating was the 2004 Final Four against UCONN and I still feel that way, but that is one game in 30+ years as a Duke fan.

K-Ville, I did everything I could to stay within the “language parameters” of the board.

Too many posts to copy and paste but there’s multiple threads and a slew of posts that suggest UNC shouldn’t bother showing up, the ref fix is in. Like clockwork.

Makes sense. It protects them from the inevitable butt kicking.. also, if they win, they'll claim they still did it in spite of playing 8v5...

Win/Win... except in the stat column and standings where it really counts.

I have thought the same except also about RR. I think a few of them are stupid/insane and there are some very good trolls that feed the flames. sometimes conspiracies are true just not the ones that one might think.
 
It began already today for me. I was in Walmart( full duke gear on) getting groceries when I hear someone behind me say “hey buddy”. I turn around and you guessed it, a unx fan. He said loudly “Duke sucks and we’re gonna beat yalls @$$ tonight. I said you’re a tarhole fan and you don’t even know when the game is? He said “ yea it’s tonight at 9 and we’re gonna beat the h*** out of y’all. I just said well good luck I hope you win tonight.......I rest my case.

I’d have probably followed up with since the game isn’t until Wednesday how bout we roll out to the parking lot and I’ll beat your ass first.

Every single day. I had a guy at work last week talk about how glad he was that the kid from Kansas is ineligible. I asked why, to which he replied, "because if you cheat you should be punished." I didn't even say anything. Just stared in disbelief.........every time I think a unx fan can't possibly say anything dumber...they prove me wrong. It's the gift that keeps on giving .

The sad part is he really believes UNC didn't cheat.
