You can tag me, I'm here and happy to talk hoops in a rational way.

Most people who read THR know that gary and I agree on almost nothing and I battle him on his nonsense on a daily basis. I've gotten multiple PMs from THR mods asking me to lay off of him.

He posts a ton and the radical sect of THR live and die by his "Very brief stuff"post game wrap ups. Mods don't want fighting between posters.

THR has become two populations...the rational group that aren't afraid to talk realistically about the players/team/Duke/State/etc and the group like Gary/FTH/keroysay who lose their minds whenever you say something negative and think Platek/Huffman are Stockton/Malone.

Unrelated, but as long as you’re here. If you remember, i pointed out that poster - safecompany- that was trolling your board last night, a few weeks ago. He comes on this board, runs the same incoherent crap, goes over there and does the same thing. Beyond annoying.

I can’t speak to your premium board but he creates a new name every few months and joins ours. I can smell him from a mile away within the first sentence of his posts haha. Sad but true.

Duke boards are largely moving in this same direction. The DBR got there 10 years ago, TDD 2-3 years ago, and there are more of those voices here now.

I'm currently getting crap from the THR ilk for wondering why they keep talking about K with the current FBI investigation when he has nothing to do with it.

Apparently Arizona paying players = K is paying players to THR.

You’re fighting a losing battle. When you can just make up stuff and pass it off as facts with people who will eat it up, all sense and logic go out the window. I have enjoyed reading that thread though haha.

The standard they set was if the school doesn't know, they won't be punished. That's complete garbage. This is absolutely classic. The irony of this post is incredible. A school should not be able to bury its head in the sand. But decades of academic fraud is ok as long as it doesn’t just involve athletes. Schools are permitted to be naive to that!

You obviously aren’t real smart and listen to ESPN tell you the story. Bolden didn’t hardly play until Zion was hurt. He only became important when he got hurt. We were also without Leaky Black and don’t have reserve center Sterling Manley healthy.

Yes our starting C who averages 6/5 while not huge but deff an impact doesn’t matter... :rolleyes:

I don’t think the asterisk is as big as people think. UNC is really good. They could have just as easily beat us last night, too.

Their board is fun to read, though, in times like this.
 
I don’t think we sweep UNC with a healthy Zion. I would say we go 2-1. If that makes some sort of asterisk so be it. Way too much is being made of this, on both sides.

We need to come to grips with Carolina being much better than we expected.

Carolina needs much thicker skin, I feel this is still being discussed because they won’t stop talking about it. They want to pound the idea that those wins count down our throats. They should be excited about their team, stop worrying about us.

I agree, I think UNC is a potential final 4 team unfortunately. With that said, I think Duke at full strength goes 2-1 against UNC.
