    Hurt to the NBA

    Hurt won't have a single advantage over other players in the NBA outside of his shot (which that slow release isn't going to play well). He just isn't going to be athletic enough IMO. I'll be cheering for him, though.

    The 3 pt shooting killed us. Every team was playing a packed in defense and daring us to shoot. Had we made those shots at even a decent clip we would have walked through that tourney.

    I think the good news is we are fans of a team with a very high standard of ethics. Certainly Duke did not want to risk spreading covid to others if there was a possibility. The bad news is we are fans of a team with a very high standard of ethics and chose not to risk spread to others over a game.

    I saw the They haven't really been playing well thier last 4 or 5 games and lost quite a few. They were very turnover prone and weren't shooting well. We had a shot.

    I probably couldn't blame anyone on the team for wanting to move on after this in some capacity (pros or transfer). Especially the sophomores who only know the tough emotional endings of last season and this one. Some may be motivated by this, but some may be ready for a fresh start somewhere.

    They will go under a shorter protocol, but as long as they test negative they'll be a tourney go.

    I doubt there is enough time for Duke to get out of protocol before an NIT, but I don't think Coach would accept it anyway. The responsible thing is to protect the players health both mental and physical and end the season.

    We shot poorly and Louisville seems to be husting more. This is almost a carbon copy of the FSU/UNC game just before us. UNC came out with a fire and we can get back in this if we do exactly the same (and someone starts making shots). Also - please no more Mark Williams to NBA talk going forward.
