Pretty simple. The dems, like all parties, have primaries where their voters make their voices heard. Over 14M voted for Biden. He got every single delegate. All political donations were to him. Now you’ll, counter with “well she’s part of the ticket,” true so she gets to keep the donations but she’s not entitled to the delegates. The bigger issue, now that’s out of the way, is that the left knew damn well that Joe was mentally shot. They ran him anyway. They’ve known for years that he was gone. He ran in 2020 saying he would be a one term president and then pass the torch. They ran him anyway. They hid his senility and dementia from the public. Anyone who dared question it was labeled a conspiracy theorist kook job. They trotted him out on that debate stage and the entire world was exposed to what we’ve all known for years. He’s donezo. It was actually really a sad moment for our country seeing the sitting president not be able to complete a sentence. From the opening question to his final pitch that night he was a blabbering non sentient fool. Tragic really. They knew he wouldn’t be able to win. The tide had officially turned. Immediately after that debate debacle the wheels were in motion to dump the old man. From Obama to Pelosi to Schumer to Warnock even the Clooneys, Bill Mahers and good ole morning Joe were telling him to drop out. He should have never run for re-election to begin with. But the voters were robbed of A an open primary and B seeing the truth about Biden’s health and mental state. They were robbed of a fair choice and alternative. The left and the power players that be will hand pick whoever it is they want, likely Harris, and you’ll shut up and take it. Doesn’t sound very democratic to me.
You have definitely made some good points and there is no doubt this is a cluster***. A couple of things though. The "left" did not "run" Biden, in the manner that you describe. My understanding was that there were party members behind the scenes trying to convince Biden not to run for a second term all along. I think that had Trump done what Carter and Bush I had done and simply gone quietly into the night, Biden would not have run. I think that he thought he was the best one to beat Trump and so stuck around. His decline was awful to watch but for much of his Presidency, he has been a full functioning leader of the party and this country. As for Harris as the candidate, had Biden acted earlier, we may not have had her as the presumptive heir as there would have been time for other names to emerge. At this point, though, we are where we are and hopefully she will have enough enthusiasm behind her candidacy to beat the other guy. I will also say that one of the things that I found so frustrating during all of this was that Trump's performance at the debates and his speech at the RNC were absolutely awful and suggest that he too no longer has the mental capacity (assuming he ever did) to govern. There have been stories out there about how he has been kept away from anything where he has to be unscripted because he is no longer capable of answering unexpected questions. Finally, since we are talking about honoring the people's votes, the right has been relentless in making it difficult for people of color to vote in any federal election: from floating the nonsense that there is voter fraud, to kicking people off the rolls to shutting down voting locations in areas inhabited primarily by people of color.

As a general rule, liberals are probably more educated than conservatives. But don't confuse education with intelligence, because liberals are extremely low on intelligence. They're actually dumb as shit. President Biden is all the proof anyone should need to know in terms of how corrupt our media is, and how braindead their followers are. They spent the last 4 years pumping him up, and insulting anyone that had the audacity to question his competence. They went as far as saying he was sharp THE DAY OF the debate. If you believe that you shouldn't be allowed to vote or drive.

The advice stands. If you talk about women in a way that focuses on their gender, your daughter will internalize it. For that matter, so would a son.

I have a hard time believing you actually care about Democrats voices being silenced. Sounds like manufactured outrage.
They were not examples. They were unsubstantiated claims that lacked specific examples. Projecting is exactly what progressive liberals do when it comes to their dishonest stance on race related issues. They look at black people as poor little victims of white supremacy. They think so low of the black community that they actually think that they have to speak for them. When in reality, it is what they stand for that keeps black people in general from just being a part of normal society instead of being on this make believe island of inferiority.
You are so far off base when it comes to what I think about people of color it would be laughable if it was not so insulting. You want to make me out to be some patronizing fop so you can dismiss everything I say. You could not be more wrong or wrong about unsubstantiated claims. I know from friends who live inOhio, what the governor there has done. The Dems certainly have their faults but the Republican party, as it stands, is full of anti-democratic people who hope that by deflecting, we won't notice.

President Trump made very positive steps regarding prison reform. It inadvertently benefitted many Black people. Like with drugs, though, conservatives don't care until it's affecting their primarily white communities. The crack epidemic brought about character assassination, bootstrap talk, and heavy-handed law & order, much of it due to a bipartisan crime bill in 1994 led by Democrats. It wasn't until the opioid epidemic that conservatives developed any kind of empathy and started seeing addicts as victims. It's also like how Republicans oppose all things LGBTQ+ until their own son or daughter comes out and suddenly they're an ally.
So you asked me why I said they undercut their own voters. You didn’t like the coherent, logical, and factual response, so you move the goal posts, and question my sincerity. You went on quite the posting spree after that I see. “Suddenly we care about democracy. Suddenly we care about black people, suddenly we care about the drug problem.” You can’t refute anything that was posted so you disingenuously try to portray the other side as insincere and vindictive.
But here’s the thing. Even if you believe the other side was all of those things, the fact remains true, your side has been bitching about election denial, orange Hitler is threat to democracy, while not only denying elections yourselves - see 2016, Stacy Abrams in GA for starters, your own party leaders (who I named) tossed out the will of the voter along with the senile old man who may or may not even be aware that he’s no longer the nominee. So call the other side all the names you want, but it’s clear as day, the democrats 10000% undercut the will of the voters, their own voters, and that is the antithesis of democracy.
