The people who worship Trump and believe that he means what he says and will do the things he says he will do and the people who have an extremely unhealthy hatred for him and believe he is the devil in human skin are two sides of the same coin.
To answer your question. As someone who admittedly voted for Trump, but won't again. What I did like about him is the fact that he isn't a life long politician and that he ruffled the right feathers. He just didn't scratch the right backs. A lot of what he says is true and people can't stand it. He lacks tact and the ability to compromise for a greater good and I don't think he has any intentions of being a serious president more than to try and settle some scores. So I am out.
So let's hear why the left and the Lincoln Project conservatives hate Trump so much and how he made their lives any worse.
Or better yet, why are we still obsessed with Trump when the current administration is in power, turning our country into a safe haven for lunatics, allowing millions of immigrants to flow freely across the border and using our military as a platform for wokeness all while spending billions to protect another country's borders and strengthen their military.
I'm for Trump, and don't apologize for it. The very things most anyone with common sense complains about with politicians, he is what we have longed for. The system is so corrupt, and probably 99.6% of all politicians get bought, which reduces their ability to do the right thing.

Alrighty, why are we still obsessed with Trump? Well, he’s running for president again and we really, really don’t want that, because he was atrocious the first time around. Here are just a few of the big issues from when he was President.
Tax Cuts and Jobs Act- Hailed by Trump to drive up investment in business, which would in turn help in creating new jobs and potentially give workers a hefty raise. All the act really did was slash corporate taxes from 35% to 21%. The Act was a slam dunk for these huge corporations and did basically nothing to improve the lives of the middle class. Along with obviously decreasing the funding that could go to the few social safety nets in this country.
His administration disbanded the pandemic response team that was put in place by the Obama administration. While obviously we can’t for sure say that having them around would have greatly helped our response to Covid, it certainly would not have hurt to have them around and the potential was there for a lot of American lives to be saved.
Also, his general downplaying of Covid caused a lot of unnecessary deaths. Yes, it’s true that the vast majority of people who got Covid would be fine, Covid along with certain other health issues were deadly. If he had taken it seriously then his base would have as well and an untold number of American lives would have been saved.
He made multiple statements about how much he admired dictators like Putin and Kim Jong-Un, helping make our country look like a joke on the world stage.
He withdrew us from the Paris agreement. Setting us back even further from actually tackling the existential threat of climate change.
That last one is an especially bad one for the younger generations, because while we may not be experiencing catastrophic effects in our country yet, we’re already seeing them in action in less developed countries and it is not good.
On top of that, he has a ridiculously long list of crimes that have all went unpunished. I’m just gonna leave some links because this comment is getting way too long but the dude has been accused of sexual assault and rape of women and young girls going back to the 70s. He actually recently lost a civil case to E. Jean Carroll where it was decided that he sexually abused her.
And obviously there are the things he’s being indicted for now, like risking nuclear secrets.

Keeping us out of the war directly while strengthening a fledgling democracy and beating back one of our biggest rivals is brilliant.

I do have to say, the climate freaks are going to end up eating a lot of crow. You take the word of the people who leave the biggest carbon footprint on this planet. There are many ways that will reduce emissions and promote clean air in a common sense approach that won't destroy economies and handicap travel and distribution.
