No one is better at it than Coach K. He puts them in position to be successful while playing for him at Duke and he gets them prepared for the NBA. Grant Hill, Shane Battier, Elton Brand, Carlos Boozer, MIke Dunleavy Jr., Danny Ferry, Corey Maggette, Luol Deng, J.J. Redick, Chris Duhon, Lance Thomas, Miles Plumlee, Mason Plumlee, Marshal Plumlee, Kyle Singler, Kyrie Irving, Ryan Kelly, Seth Curry, Austin Rivers, Jabari Parker, Rodney Hood, Quinn Cook, Jahlil Okafor, Justise Winslow, Tyus Jones, Brandon Ingram, Luke Kennard, Jayson Tatum, Harry Giles, Frank Jackson, Amile Jefferson. He will be adding Marvin Bagley, Wendell Carter, Grayson Allen, Gary Trent Jr., and Trevon Duval to the list of former players to be drafted in the NBA. Some of these guys had a lot of doubters in regards to ever playing in the NBA: J.J. Redick, Lance Thomas, Miles Plumlee, Marshal Plumlee, Quinn Cook, and Amile Jefferson. He coached Kennard and Redick up to become Lottery Picks. Kyrie is a Superstar in the league. Tatum looks like he is on his way to become a Superstar. Ingram has received the compliment of becoming a mirror image of Kevin Durant, Durant said it so himself "when I look at Brandon Ingram its like looking in the mirror." Parker has been hampered by injuries but he has solidified himself as being the Greek Freak's running mate. Grant Hill was special in the NBA. Shane Battier, Danny Ferry, and Quinn Cook are all NBA World Champions. Guys like Cook, Curry, and Jefferson worked hard enough in the G League to earn their NBA Contracts. Luol Deng was a great defender for many years while playing for the Bulls. Rodney Hood is a good scorer in the league. Winslow is one of Miami's best defenders. Tyus is a solid back up Point Guard for the Timberwolves. It's no wonder many graduating high school seniors want to play for Coach K at Duke given his track record of having the opportunity to compete for a National Championship before sending his players to the NBA, especially more gratifying while watching UNC struggling to put any of their players in the NBA who are able to make an impact.
