Re: Quinn Cook Stat-Tracker - Goes Over 1,300 Points vs. FSU (into top 40 now)

Quinn stands at 1,548 career points, and needs 23 to pass David Henderson for 28th on Duke's all-time list. With the potential of two remaining games there's a chance he gets there....but we likely must win Saturday first.

Regardless, it's been an absolute pleasure watching him his senior season and seeing how his game has evolved, both as a player and leader. I don't think any of us could have anticipated what we've witnessed.

Kind of a nice little career for Quinn. Just an amazing and special senior season.

Its sad reading in the title of the thread "Cook finishes"

Seems like he has played for more than 4 years and we are going to miss his timely drives and three pointers. He was truly a great Dukie.

Re: Quinn Cook Stat-Tracker - Goes Over 1,300 Points vs. FSU (into top 40 now)

I'm going to bump this one more time (maybe two) before it falls off the page(s).

We really witnessed one of the truly special Duke senior seasons this past year.

Can't really say anything more then what has already been said all year, but you can certainly keep reiterating it. SPECIAL SPECIAL kid, and a special year. Really really proud of him. Thank you Quinn! Way to go.

I remember the Cook recruitment and the discussions we had here. We were talking about a pure point guard and how he and Thorton would be paired together. Just about everything was positive about him and we were all excited about his commitment. He didn't set the woods on fire by any means his freshman year but I do think he lived up to what we expected him to be. That's why I always have hope for incoming freshman and their potential if they stay 4 years. There hasn't been many freshman that progressed from their first freshman year to a senior as well as Quinn did. Gotta love those seniors. They all leave a special place in my heart for them. OFC
