Kennard and Ingram honored by Parade Magazine

Kennard was named Boys Player of the year and joined on the Parade All American team by Ingram. I know it's not the big name high school All American honor like McD's or Jordan Brand but still great for those guys.

I miss spelled his last name. How could I do that. I wonder when UNC comes to Cameron and the crowd goes Luuuuukkkkkkeeee if Maye will think it's him they are Luuuuukkkkkkiiiinnnnngggg for. I do believe that Luke Kennard is the shooter we've been llllluuuukkkkiiiinnnnngggg for. OFC

Really hoping that Kennard is a stronger, maybe a little better shooting version of Scheyer.

I agree, JCC! I remember many years ago when the Parade All-American teams was the only info I had on the top recruits. I always enjoyed seeing it.

I hope he is amazing...however to be better than Scheyer is asking a lot of any player. But if he is that good or better then I will be happy!

This is the third straight year we have locked up the Parade NPOY. Jabari>Jah>Luke. I know Luke won't bring us the same immediate impact, but when you score 40 ppg, I don't care where you played. He can flat out score the ball. Imagine him and Grayson in 2 years?

You're really asking for a lot. I hope so too....but Jon is one more special players to put on a Duke uniform in the last 20 years. So that's pretty lofty status for Luke to live up to.

Correct, Jon might be one of the most underrated (even though he won a championship) players we've had EVER. He did everything on the court and was as selfless as anyone. he also quietly scored 2000 points. Not easy to do quietly.
