I saw Wendell play last weekend. They were playing a very outmanned team and it was senior night. Wendell started but only played about 16 or 20 minutes of the game. Coach wanted to get as much run for the seniors as possible. Pace was up 30 at the half and cruised all second half (won by 24).
It's the only time I've seen Wendell play live, so a very small sample size. (and the competition was extremely weak). That being said, he's a stud (we all know this). He reminds me much more of Parker than Okafor. Runs the court fluidly. Nice stroke from 3. Good handle and made some nice passes out of / over double teams. Did not seem wildly aggressive, almost looked disinterested. Could be the level of competition. Hard to tell much in a game like this, but the skill set is definitely impressive.
Look forward to seeing him play in the states, where competition will be much better, and again in the summer on the AAU circuit
