    Tyreese Proctor reclassing

Tyrese is already 18 years old, he’s actually older than Dariq Whitehead and other freshman that have came in and started for Duke. So call him a reclass or whatever, but he’s been playing better competition than the typical 5 star freshman has (and those guys play the best of the best...

    Texas Tech next

We almost got the gift of all gifts with Memphis and ND almost clipping Gonzaga & Texas Tech. We have by far the toughest road left to get to the Final 4. We know we are more talented than whoever we play, the question will be can we play together as a team and step up in the final minutes like...

My prediction :Joey Baker will be back next year.

In 2022, trying to predict next years roster and depth chart before the middle of summer is essentially pointless, and this isn't just for Duke and the amount of guys that go pro every year, this is for just about everyone. All indications are that Joey will be back next year. If he does come...

***DUKE VS UNC- COACH K FINAL GAME IN CAMERON - OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD***

Reading this GameDay thread makes me appreciate the DukeBlueBrotherhood forum even more (anyone that isn't there, come join!). K is the GOAT, there will never be another K in college basketball, and he deserves all of the recognition that ESPN/Duke was willing to give him. K also has total...

***DUKE VS VIRGINIA OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD***

3 of our losses (OSU, FSU, UVA) we got dominated in the paint. It seems when we lose the battle down low our guards aren’t good enough to make up the difference. All of our big wins we have absolutely dominated down low. The book to beat us it out: crash the offensive glass at will and make us...

Sounds Like Baldwin Playing for His Dad at UWM

Griffin had a very severe ankle injury this past Feb and there are some rumors floating around that he may get surgery in the offseason and this may even bleed into next Oct/Nov (I know, it's April and were already talking about guys being out.) Hence why Griffin has dropped in the rankings...

    Marcus Bagley

Obviously Patrick is priority #1, we land him and we are done. However, it's nice to know that the staff is looking at contingency plans, because we need another shooter (could use another ball-handler too, but whatever, lets hope Roach makes a big jump and Wendell remembers how to dribble)...

Sounds Like Baldwin Playing for His Dad at UWM

Everything that has happened lately, tells me Baldwin is coming to Duke. Brakefield and Coleman transferring (when minutes were seemingly available) and then the only transfer we took was John, who wouldn't be competing with Baldwin for minutes anyway. His recruitment has gone on farrrrr too...

    Jaylen Blakes

This would be a great future piece if he can stay 3+ years. However, the way things are shaking out, next year looks like our best chance at #6 (especially if we get Baldwin or Hurt), and not sure this guy will help next year. Maybe he can, college basketball is so down nowadays that a 4 star...

    Mock NBA Draft

https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-mock-drafts/?year-mock=2022 Mark Williams projected #11 in the 2022 draft. That worries me, I think he could go first round this year. Mark coming back is everything for next year, could be the difference between a title team and a Sweet 16 team. Man we could be...

    Other Games

I hope Timme leaves, though I doubt he gets drafted. Suggs and Kispert are gone, if they return Timme (and get Chet Holmgrem) than they will probably be preseason #1 even though they will lose to Duke on black Friday. If Timme leaves (and Duke gets some recruiting magic, maybe it happens...

    Noah Gurley

We need Baldwin. Name the elite shooters on next years team?? There isn't one. Unless Baker is hot literally the whole season (not gonna happen.) We have the perfect piece in Banchero: him and Williams are gonna be a load down low. But we need to surround those guys with shooting. Roach is...

Projected scoring averages for next year

I’d probably have Banchero at 18+ ppg and Williams more in the 10-12 range. I think there’s a better chance Banchero wins ACC POY than him not being our leading scorer next year.

A couple thoughts.. -The college players petitioning the NCAA to allow the NIL to begin in 2022 is a big deal. If players can make real money off of their image and likeness (and Duke guys will be paid the highest I would think) than that could be a game-changer. This should have happened 10...

What position would Hurt play in NBA?

The modern day NBA 4’s job is to stand 30 feet from the basket to open the floor for the guards and be able to make 3’s at a 40% rate. I don’t know if I love what the game has become, but the math says you will score more points playing like that. Hurt is a 4, he can only play the 4 in the...

What is something you hope to see more of next season from Duke

Next year's team will have the talent level of the 2018 and 2019 teams: so with that said, I'd like to see next year's team get better throughout the season and peak in March, like in 2015. No big injuries would certainly help this to work out positively. Let's smash UK, beat Gonzaga, and then...

Who Is Staying ... Going? Thoughts?

I see 0 chance of Hurt coming back. This year sucked for many reasons, but once Jalen went out, things essentially worked out perfect for Hurt. We ran our offense through him, and he delivered bucket after bucket. His numbers would decrease next year with Banchero in the lineup too. Hurt...

Who Is Staying ... Going? Thoughts?

Yes, Jordan can play overseas. There are many international basketball leagues, pay can range anywhere from 50K to 5+ million depending on the league you are in/ how good you are. Essentially any major D1 guy that gets on the floor has the ability to play pro basketball somewhere. Will he choose...
