I think it makes sense for him. A lot of sense. He gets to probably play closer to home, he gets a free year to get stronger and work on his game in practice. He comes back a year later and has two years to prove himself with ample opportunity given to him. For Chase's basketball future, it makes a lot of sense. He wasn't going to get the medical redshirt at Duke. Transferring gives him that extra year to improve before he has the opportunity to make a living at this game.
