Nope. Some of what y'all just said makes sense. I refuse to have the conversation about Israel & Gaza with extremists on both sides.

Yes, @GhostOf301 , the picture you paint of immigration overburdens local infrastructure, resources, and citizens heavily. I understand why that leads to resentment and hostility.
Extremists. More name calling. Another of your go tos when you have no response. You always bemoan the lack of civil discourse on this message bd. If I advocated for Israel annexing the West Bank and Gaza that might be considered extreme. Nothing I posted even comes close to that.
What is more likely is that my post was full of historical facts that you were simply unaware of and it was shocking to you that Israel has been attacked so many times ( 48, 67, and 73) and the Arabs have turned down a state so often.
Meanwhile there’s a pogrom going on in Amsterdam as we speak: Israeli soccer fans beaten, kicked, assaulted. Some are missing. Their hotel is surrounded and they are not allowed to leave.
Israel is flying rescue planes into Holland as we speak.
I thought the pro Hamas crowd wanted all the Jews to go back to Europe. This is why Israel is the only safe haven for Jews and is more necessary than ever

The Left’s ignorance of the Middle East helped Trump win over more Jews than ever before esp in MI and PN so y’all keep up the good work

If only there was the slightest crack in your vault of knowledge of Israel that the entire left could find some way to learn anything from!

Even when a FEMA official is caught red handed, you still use it as an opportunity to attack Trump supporters.
Smashmouth merely posted the article Do you not think this is worth reporting? The msm won’t cover it, don’t worry. They got your back.
If anyone has undermined trust in FEMA, it would be FEMA

You’re so head in the sandy when it comes to the fed govt, at least when a Dem is in office. I suspect we’re to see an about face in a couple of months where all of a sudden you don’t see things as “isolated incidents” but signs of deep seated corruption that demand more impeachment hearings to waste all of our time and money some more

It has been less than 12 hours, but CNN has already reported on it. Everyone should. How long would you like this to stay in the news cycle for everyone?

I'm pretty much the only person here tapping the brakes over ANYTHING y'all get so worked up about. Exercise some restraint and control your emotions and I won't feel the need to step in like a teacher trying to keep a class discussion among 11-year-olds less embarrassing.

Unrelated, @Mac9192 , a week or two ago you said this would be a landslide and I disagreed. Perhaps you're too gracious to mention it, or perhaps you're too old and mentally declined to remember, but I wanted to double-back on that and give you credit where credit is due. For all intents and purposes, it was a landslide. You were right; I was wrong.

Libs pretended to be upset over a joke that affected no one. But here we got a lib acting like "an isolated incident" that could actually affect people's lives is no big deal. I hope every liberal volunteers to have their brains studied after they die so they can find what chemicals make them think the way they do so we can find a way to eliminate them in the future.

If you continually have "isolated instances" are they really that isolated?
No, but what's the exact formula? If you're going to talk about what a big and bloated behemoth the federal govt is, you should probably have more than 72 examples. If you're going to talk about how President Biden sent out 24 million invitations to America to the entire prison population of Mexico, you should probably come up with more than 11 adorable murdered blonde girls.

Well. To be fair. I was the one who said it wasn't going to be close and that they weren't going to be able to sneak in enough ballots because it would be outside of the margin of mail-in ballots.

How this election doesn't open more people's eyes to the obvious bullshit of the 2020 election is wild. But all it did was keep Trump in their heads for 4 years longer than he needed to be.

You're comparing apples to Adonis here. THIS lib neither pretended nor actually got upset over that joke, nor am I going to get upset over your eugenics trolling here. THIS lib didn't say an isolated incident was no big deal. I said it should be covered by the media, including msm. You're trying to build a case for hypocrisy comparing what people who are demonstratively not me allegedly did, and a distortion of what I actually did say and mean.

President Trump never went anywhere. He was rightfully and legitimately out of office for 4 years, but he never went away. He has been in everyone's head this entire time because he never went away.

The polls said it was really close. More people voted early and by absentee or mail-in ballot than ever before. Democrats held the White House. If we stole it in 2020, why couldn't we have stolen it this time? It's well known that fraud would affect smaller elections first, so why did we give back the House in 2022? Why didn't we give ourselves a bigger majority in the Senate in 2020? The truth is that our elections are safe and secure. He won in 2016. He lost in 2020. He won in 2024. There is no credible proof of widespread, impactful fraud in any of those 3 Presidential elections.

PS, your participation trophy for also predicting a landslide is in the mail.

There was supposedly record turnout this year. Also 25 million new registered voters. Trump received almost 3 million fewer votes in 24' compared to 20'. But Harris received 17 million fewer votes than Biden did in 2020 despite her campaign having far more enthusiasm than Biden's. But it's probably nothing. There is also the funny stat that Biden only received 17% of his 81 million votes (lol) in, in person voting. There was so much fvckery with the 2020 election, I just wish we had an honest attempt to investigate it.

The point is, we could have TURNED THE PAGE on Donald Trump in 2 months. We could have said BYE BYE DONALD TRUMP!! in 2 months. But they kept him around and now they can't even throw him in jail like they wanted to. Maybe they shouldn't have played games with mail-in voting in 2020. Fraud, no fraud, without them twisting rules to allow ballots that had never been allowed before and weren't in this election, Biden would not have won that election.

Participation trophies are awarded for people who try and fail like Kamala for instance. Well, she kind of tried anyway.
If Ghost and Mac accurately predicted a landslide they would get first place trophies. They tried and succeeded An unfamiliar concept to you on the Left I know, but I hope this helps

It was nothing: "In 2020, 66.38 percent of the eligible voting population turned out, with 159,738,337 ballots counted across the country, according to the University of Florida's Election Lab. There were 240,628,443 eligible voters that year.
As of 2 p.m. ET Wednesday, fewer people had turned out than four years ago—64.54 percent of the 245,741,673 eligible had cast ballots for a total of 158,549,000.
"

2020 was investigated thoroughly in Arizona: "Arizona Republicans concluded their audit of the 2020 presidential election Friday and said in a letter to the Attorney General that the review's overall tally matched results from November."

2020 was investigated thoroughly in Georgia: "In a state where Republicans controlled every branch of government, [Republican Secretary of State] Raffensperger stood up to Trump on the call.
Brad Raffensperger (on call): We have to stand by our numbers. We believe our numbers are right.
Trump's lawyers brought shocking tales of fraud to the legislature. But investigations by the state police, FBI and Raffensperger's office found none was true.
Brad Raffensperger: They said there were 66,000 underage voters. There were zero. Then they said that there were 2,423 non-registered voters. There were zero.
Scott Pelley: But you're a Republican. He was your president.
Brad Raffensperger: I work for the people of Georgia. I respond and I work for the voters of Georgia. My job is to run a fair, honest, accurate election."

2020 was investigated thoroughly in Michigan: "The GOP-led state Senate Oversight Committee said in a 55-page report released Wednesday that citizens should be confident that the election’s outcome represents the “true results.” Democrat Joe Biden defeated then-President Donald Trump by about 155,000 votes, or 2.8 percentage points, in the battleground state.

2020 was investigated thoroughly in Nevada: "There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in Nevada, at any point in our state’s history," Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar wrote in a statement with the release of the report. "That has not stopped the Secretary of State’s Office from receiving a major increase in questions about election fraud and integrity."

2020 was investigated thoroughly in Pennsylvania: "Pennsylvania's top election official said Sunday that the commonwealth's 2020 elections were "accurate," while saying Pennsyvlania is "not susceptible to any sort of widespread voter fraud" — and he said officials are preparing with heightened security to combat threats as Election Day draws near.
"Time and time again, in many dozens of cases in 2020, every one of those cases upheld that our elections were accurate and that we're not susceptible to any sort of widespread voter fraud or anything like that," [Republican] Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Al Schmidt said Sunday on "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan."

2020 was investigated thoroughly in Wisconsin: "The legal bills for a Republican-ordered investigation of the 2020 presidential election continue to pile up, with the total cost to taxpayers for the probe now topping $2 million, according to a recent report."

The point is, we could have TURNED THE PAGE on Donald Trump in 2 months.
We? We could have turned the page on him after the 2020 election but you didn't want to. There's no telling how much more he would have done in 8 straight years in office. There's no telling what he will do in the next 4 years.

If I'd had my way, we'd be looking at President-elect Tim Kaine after 8 years as VP. Congressional Republicans would be holding their 93rd investigation into President Hillary Clinton's actions that led to the deaths of 39 Americans during the Covid pandemic.

I spent 29 years in education as a physical education teacher and coach. I still teach driver education part-time. My best friends were the custodians, cafeteria ladies, and the secretary. There are some strange people in education.

This is year 29 for me. I wish I could get in on the Driver's Ed racket for my retirement gig, but coaches pretty much have that locked-down. I'm planning on going 32, when my youngest graduates. My latest plan is to get my CDL and drive a bus, sub or teach part-time between routes. Just a lark at this point, really.

Dividing people into nuts and not nuts based on whether they hung out with your mom. Gotcha. But I'm outta line for stating my expertise on public education and linguistics.

He's now a twice-impeached, 34-time felon.
All of his charges will be either dismissed or appealed. You should really keep up
As far as your other ridiculous post re: 2020, mail in ballots were sent without voter ID or signature verification Current tenants filled out ballots for previous tenants, spouses filled out ballots for their less interested significant others etc.
On top of that, a lot of voters were deeply depressed due to draconian lock downs and turned to alcohol and drugs to ease the pain They weren’t thinking straight. Not in the category of fraud but voter manipulation

It’s not about double checking the ballot count. It’s about mail in ballots that no elig requiremts: no voter ID, no sign verification. You’re just being intentionally ignorant at this point

I was ready to get out asap. I used my sick leave that I had accumulated to give me 30.5 years of service. There was a huge difference between teaching kids in the late 80’s compared to 2010’s. The lack of effort and respect given to the teachers just showed me how much society has changed. I just believe in hard work and a can do attitude, which many students lack. Driver Ed is a good gig, but I did have to go an extra year in college to get certified. As far as it being a racket, there’s a lot more to it than most people realize. The kids today for the most part are clueless on how to handle a vehicle and right-of-way rules. The smart phone has really done them a disservice. Anyway, retirement is great. If I were you, I’d retire now and find something else part-time. You can make just as much money without the stress.
