A lot of people on the left are overly sensitive and can’t tell when people are joking or not. Take the Puerto Rico joke at MSG. They were outraged about what a comedian said, but the politicians calling everyone Hitler followers were ok. You’re right about teachers, a lot of them should be fired. I never agreed with the tenure BS. If you don’t do your job, find another occupation.
The left has always gotten away with spewing vitriol, hate and divisiveness. Then playing the victim and pointing the finger and accusing the Right of doing it. LOL... It's laughable and "the people" are seeing through their BS. That's why the results of the election are what they are. I hear my liberal friends saying they just couldn't vote for Trump b/c of "character issues", not realizing those same character issues reside just as strongly on the left. The majority of that is the corp media giving Trump/the right 85% negative coverage and 95% positive coverage to Harris/Biden/the left.
It's also pretty ironic that Harris only won the states that have no voter ID laws. I'm not saying that she possibly wouldn't have won them anyway, but it's eyebrow raising.
Not to mention the 15+M voters that came from out of no where in 2020, then disappeared again in 2024. LOL...I guess that was just an anomaly.

Tenure exists basically because of the Great Red Scare. College professors had to be able to educate students about things like communism without indoctrinating them with patriotic propaganda. Shouldn't people learn what communism actually is before making an informed decision about it? Isn't there a place for studying it as a concept, as a theory, and a place for studying it in application? Shouldn't political scientists use a variation of the Scientific Method, too, avoiding prejudices to make analytical decisions?
Really, conservatives should blame themselves for the existence of tenure. If they weren't determined to eradicate from education everything they're scared of and which doesn't fit their narrow worldview, it wouldn't be necessary. It's as relevant and necessary as ever as we look toward a second Trump Presidency. Quit political meddling in education and tenure won't be necessary.

I saw the map of states with no voter ID laws. I felt this election should have been a landslide, but I was worried about their cheating. I heard the phrase "too big to rig" and I believe that was spot on. They knew they couldn't get away with what they did in 20.
More Americans have opened their eyes. That's great for our country, but bad for democrats. They've gotten so delusional. But what's worse than that is they've become so arrogant and brazen, and they thought they could continue to get away with this shit.
Not as opposed, no. Not my point. My point is, the left has no moral superiority, and by the numbers, they are the most vile and nasty people there are. That doesn't mean that Trump is innocent or that there are no vile and nasty people on the right.

Spot on! I was worried, as well. I'm just glad that Americans of different backgrounds, races, religions and sexes are waking up to the BS of the liberal party. It was pretty resounding. However, the democrats still don't understand what happened or why it happened. I hope they stay in that mental delusion b/c it's only going to benefit conservatives.
My favorite map though, and I'm sure you saw it too. The map of every county in the US that voted for Biden, then the same map that voted for Harris. It was ZERO and it was beautiful. LMFAO.....
I think the clip was from the view. A woman was talking about a border county that is 97% Hispanic voters and 75% of them voted for Trump. And as she was trying to explain that it was because of the border situation, she was interrupted by another host who said it was because of misogyny. They can't imagine a scenario that it is terrible policy and lack of concern for national security would be the reason for Hispanics to vote for Trump. Hispanic Americans are the ones who got the biggest middle finger from this regime.
I don't think there is any data collected to verify my claims. So I can add that it is my opinion. And I think my opinion is backed by a bottomless supply of examples. If the right had more vile and nasty people, they must do a better job at hiding it. How many songs are there about killing a democrat president? How many music videos are there depicting the assassinating Barack Obama? How many people held up a bloody head of Joe Biden? There's no shortage of examples of people on the right being insulting and disrespectful. I can be an example of that. But it's just not at the same level.
If you're owning it as your opinion, I can accept that. Surprising no one, my opinion is that there are far more examples on the right, and I hope you would trust that in addition to the examples you would acknowledge, I could come up with many more. It doesn't sound like a fun use of the rest of this holiday, though, so I'd just as soon leave it at that.

Granted, Stalin was our ally in WW2 but he was responsible for more civilian deaths than Hitler. Upwards of 20 million from political executions and man made famines from collectivization etc. No one ever calls their enemies a Stalin.

Conservatives' fault, not necessarily Republicans'. Democratic President Truman deserves some blame, as well.

If you're the judge of whether they count or not, yeah, I'd agree that it's doubtful. But then I get to go back and evaluate your examples and dismiss each of them, too, and we get back into the weeds again.

It's all about different issues on the left, but issues all the same. But you won, we lost. The issues you find more important will be prioritized. The left can dig their heels in and be ignored, or we can participate and hopefully be included.
Well I gave you examples that you ignored. What are some examples that even come close to begin as vile and nasty as those?
