Yes, I did! Drove up with my ladyfriend to Marque Cinemas in Wytheville, VA in order to see it on the big screen. Loved it. The mixed reviews kinda had me a little concerned, only because a few of the critics I usually have similar tastes with didn't care for it. Thankfully it turned out to be an experience well worth the trip! Nolan is a filmmaker who is batting a .1000, (The Prestige is my favorite of his films), with me currently. And I was so glad to be back in the theater again. Literally my favorite thing in the world, (besides Duke basketball and Raiders football), is going to the movies. I'm concerned about the future of the cinema with everything going on right now. Have you had the chance to see it?
Yes! I went on Sunday. I loved it too. I was going to tell you to see it on the big screen if you could. It was truly a visual spectacle meant for the big screen. I saw it in the Dolby Atmos theater and the moving sound was awesome. The chairs were vibrating for every action scene, so you felt the impact from all the crashes and explosions. It was the best use of Dolby Atmos for any film I've seen in that format.
I love going to the theater too. It's my favorite way to escape the real world for a couple of hours. I actually was at AMC the day before they closed in March and I went the day they reopened in August. That was 15 cent admission day! It was older movies, but I went to see The Goonies. I'd never seen it on the big screen, so it was fun to see it that way. I do hope people will return to the movies. With the exception of one couple, everyone has been adhering to the safety precautions here, which is nice to see. I also went to see The Personal History of David Copperfield a couple of weeks ago and I really enjoyed it as well. A few people asked me if they revealed his magic tricks and I was momentarily confused the first time it happened. It was hilarious when I told them it was a Charles Dickens novel. I'm fairly certain a film about the magician would be interesting too!
We also saw Bill and Ted: Face the Music! Loved getting to see those characters together once again. Btw, my favorite thing about Tenet was Robert Pattinson. Couldn't get enough of his character. What did you think of the Dune trailer? The full trailer hit online recently and I cannot wait to see it. Loved that book as a kid.

This whole idea of Christians not being able to support Trump is literally on another level of dumb. Makes me think you aren't actually Christian. Everyone sins. I don't know why Trumps sins are worse than anyone else. Pretty much just another fake outrage point made by idiots.
So, if he grabbed your wife, girlfriend, sister, mom, aunt, a female friend by the pussy you'd be cool with it then, right? Because everyone sins. I have my issues with his presidency. I've stated a few of them here. What I cannot abide by is reading posts by someone claiming no one reacted poorly to him on a daily basis. Faux News spent the entirety of his presidency trying to tear everything the man did or said completely apart.

Look at what is going on in the ICE detention centers right now, where is the outrage over how those women are being treated? Are their reproductive organs not worthy of defending? Not saying this is you or anyone here. But I am sick and tired of this faux pro-life jargon. Where are republicans when it comes to all the help mothers and their babies need after it leaves the womb? A great many Republicans are against federally-funded maternity leave, a program that would allow a woman to actually take care of her baby. And then there are the others out there who hold a similar, but different viewpoint which claims that the decision to mandate maternity leave should be left to the private sector and not the federal government. Just leave it up to the businesses, because we all know how that works out. Just look at Hobby Lobby's response to birth control and women's issues. They could give two rat ****s about women or the babies once they leave the mother's womb. Without someone stepping in the majority of businesses will never feel the obligation to pay for family leave on their own. And see this is what gets me about abortion rights. All these pro-lifers will scream to the high heavens about the rights of the child until they're blue in the face to get your votes. Then turn around and defund every single program that can help a child or the mother economically. WAR is the greatest destroyer of human life. Another problem with Republican pro-lifers is that they often support mass murder on a large scale. as long as it is being done by soldiers in uniform to foreigners instead of doctors in white coats to babies. How many Vietnamese, Iraqis, Afghans, and other people who look darker or different have been killed by American bombs and bullets in unjust wars instigated by the United States? How many orphans did the U.S. military make in Vietnam? How many children died in Iraq thanks to brutal U.S. sanctions? How many widows did the U.S. military make in Afghanistan? Republicans may not care about dead foreigners. So how many U.S. soldiers died in vain and for a lie in senseless foreign wars? Pro-lifers should be just as concerned about their government sanctioning the killing of foreigners on the battlefield in an unjust war as they are about their government sanctioning the killing of babies in the womb in an abortion. It is hypocrisy in the highest degree to talk about the sanctity of life and the evils of abortion and then turn around and show contempt for, or indifference to, the lives of people already out of the womb.
