The New Lounge

Nobody is killing babies weeks before birth.
No one who is firmly supportive of sexual orientations and gender identities is dissuaded by the behavior of a few. It is the people who have always been against it but have been silenced who are riled back up by it.
The reversal of Roe v Wade has nothing to do w/ public sentiment and everything to do with a packed court.
Go take another mental health break before you…..crack.

Just watched Biden speak with a huge crowd of 30 people, while being heckled with a siren and FJB chants😂

So it may or may not have happened. Couldn't BYU sue SC for breach of contract. That will never happen because of "woke mob fear" but now we loose our minds on maybes.
Interesting that no one asked other Duke or BYU players if they heard the slur How many would be willing to lie to be on the “right side of things”. Perpetrators of racial hoaxes should be charged with hate crimes The supply of racism in this country doesn’t meet the demand.

The SC coach wants it to have happened. That’s enough nowadays. Feelings over Facts

The only people losing their mind are the usual Twitter snowflakes. Most of us are used to being offended.

I think there is a good chance that she misheard something coming from the fans. Whenever I think about this story, the BYU nickname of "cougars" keeps popping up in my mind. Because of that possibility, I have kept an open mind, baring new info. I remember the flareup about Duke fans supposedly chanting about a NC State player's grandma not that long ago when they were not doing so at all.

You've been wrong before. But here you are just lying.
I could go into greater explanation, but what's the point? You'd just ignore it. One example, about killing babies weeks before birth: Anyone who carries a fetus into the third trimester has every intention of having a child. They already have names picked out. They already have a registry. They already have a nursery set up. And then they find out there is no heartbeat. Or that the baby they wanted will live for a few hours in total pain, then die. Or that the uterus-having pregnant person's life is endangered (possibly meaning existing children will be left uterus-having parentless). That's not "killing" in the murder sense, which is what conservatives wag their jowls and clutch their pearls over.

Now... go ahead and fixate on how I didn't say "woman" or "mother," and how a lot of expectant parents don't have the registry, nursery, and names ready until well into the third trimester, so you can avoid the point entirely just like you planned from the very beginning.

These are examples of the JV version of "the unarmed Black man may have posed a legitimate threat to life and therefore deserved to be shot."

Do y'all matrix this hard to excuse anyone but white people accused of racism?

You people always operate on the hypotheticals that suite your arguments and ignore the ones that make you look like sick people who are okay with killing unborn babies as a form of birth control. You can hide behind the health of the mother in order to remove emotion from the life of the child. Fact is, the vast majority of abortions are for the convenience of the mother. Not the health. A mother having an abortion at 36 weeks still has to birth that child whether it be deceased or alive. Why give up at that point if not for their own satisfaction. I understand there are women who have to make tough and heartbreaking decisions. But let's not act like those situations make up a significant fraction of abortions.

1) Poor attempt at equivalence.
2) It's my psychological makeup to always use critical thinking and a level of skepticism in processing data. I am literally incapable of making a quick emotional stance.
3) My Yoruba wife tells me that I do a fairly good job at controlling my racism.
4) I am no stranger to being called a cracker as I walk down the street. I have always ignored those occasions and just kept walking. A reaction on my part would have just caused trouble which would have been precisely the desired outcome by the perpetrators.

There have been so many cases of false racism claims whether they be flat out lies or people hearing what they want to hear, that I am automatically skeptical when I hear about these cases. Like the Rockies fan that was screaming for the mascot that is called Dinger so he would come over and take a picture with his grandchild. People acted like a grown man would be screaming the N word at a random baseball player not expecting a reaction from the crowd. Even after the very logical explanation that the mascot's name was Dinger and video of the man facing away from the random baseball player who he was supposedly screaming the N word at and directly towards the mascot. The woke crowd still wanted this man booted from the stadium and fired from his job. Even after these cases were proven false, people still stick to their stories.

It’s no different than the false rape allegations. You’re hurting the people that are or have been, (or really future victims of) actual rape.

Agree. And the constant application of holocaust, gestapo and Hitler as descriptive terms to current politics also grates on me. MGT is my personal bugbear award winner for this poor and demeaning rhetorical tactic. I read that the Israeli embassy to the US recently complained anonymously about her, and it is practically unheard of for the Israelis to ever complain about the USA congress.

Saw that Dawn Staley was in the pace car today at the Southern 500. How can she be involved in a sport where they have "nooses" hanging in the garage area.

The wokesters live for incidents like the alleged one at BYU. This is their only area of expertise and they get to lecture the rest of us on how evil and ignorant we are so yeh sometimes they hear what they want to hear. Sometimes they make it up altogether

I know the Sloppy Joe administration has felt the need to walk things back, but they are spinning, walking and running after that big Thursday night speech. Of course when you pick a person like Jon "lizard brain" Meachum to write the speech, what did you think you would get.

That speech was absurd. 24hrs later he completely walked it back.

Speech- all MAGA republicans are an extremist threat.

Next day- “I do not think all MAGA republicans are an extremist threat.”

Oh.

Like it took you more than one comment you didn't like for you to leap to that conclusion.

And nice job cherry-picking the rare Black conservative who now speaks for all things race-related in your book.

I don't recognize you, but way to play the I-have-a-Black-wife card, as if it's really that cut-and-dry. Your comment is very much in line with many of the other conservatives here.

What case isn't false racism in your book? I don't believe I've ever seen you acknowledge evidence that racism still exists. Every claim is false when you are already predisposed to dismiss it.

False racism and false rape claims are very, very rare. Y'all just talk about them constantly because it keeps you from having to care about it or do anything about it.

No hypotheticals whatsoever. Those cases make up nearly every case of third trimester abortions.

Who put you in charge of defining convenience? They're giving up at that point "for their own satisfaction"?! Geez, you are a twisted, hateful person.

Which is common sense. The ‘conservatives’ here that you whine about are, for the most part, fed up with their party.

You aren’t. And until you quit playing party politics, things won’t get better in our country. You’re doing exactly what the government wants its good little sheep to do. Find a problem, make up a problem, then find someone to blame it on.

Yeah. I am against abortion being a form of birth control (the vast majority of abortions) and you want to use outliers to justify your feelings on ending lives before they begin. And I am the twisted and hateful person. Whatever you need to tell yourself to feel better about being okay with killing the innocent before they ever had a chance.

Yeah, because if you didn't vote for Biden you ain't black. The left wears their racism like a badge of honor. It really is amazing to watch.

Jussie says hello.
The Duke lacrosse situation. Michael Brown an about 3/4 of all other supposed racial profiling cases with police. The fake noose in nascar. The poop swastika. The baseball example from earlier. The boyfriend at Kansas state that wrote the racist stuff on his own car. The black church vandalism that was a black church member. These were all national news and only a small example from off the top of my mind. It's hilarious to claim that it is very, very rare.

Exactly. Look no further than the current POTATUS to see examples of the racism that exists today. Today's racism is isolated and mostly in passing. It's not rampant and life altering like the freaks on the left want to make it out to be. Are there millions of people who hold racist views? Absolutely, on all sides. But there is not this great white supremacy problem that they desperately want to make people believe that there is. The left has to have racism. They don't want to end it. Without racism, they would have to focus on other issues to manipulate minds over. That's why they jump on every supposed case of racism before knowing the facts. They build mountains out of molehills and then change the subject whenever the truth comes out. They truly are disgusting people.
