Can’t believe we’re down to 32 teams already.. let’s hope for another exciting day. What do y’all expect?

I see more upsets. I think furman beats San Diego St.

Arkansas and Auburn will both challenge 1 seeds in Kansas and Houston with auburn having a decent shot at the win.

The way Penn st is playing they could make that a game and hopefully northwestern shows up big

Bringing a loaded gun to a friend late at night is not something i can relate to. Maybe I run in different circles.
Cheering for Duke and UCLA today.

Haha we’ll me either but he didn’t break the law in any way shape or form and the owner of the gun requested it back. If he had knowledge of what would happen and did it that’s one thing but by all accounts he was clueless. Wrong place wrong time, wrong friends

Yeah, taking a weapon to someone after midnight is not an intelligent decision. I never said he should have been arrested. But if he's a no-name scrub, a bench player, or even a star on a small division one team, he's sitting at home for the rest of the year after that. Miller is still playing because he's a top prospect.

Did you think paolo should have sat out games for breaking the law last year?

Are you comparing those two situations? You have got to be kidding me. I think he should have sat out a couple of games for making a stupid decision that could've injured him, Michael, or someone else. He was a teenager who made a bad decision. He didn't bring a gun to someone in the middle of the night that was used in a murder. Not the same thing at all.

And to answer the inevitable question, if Paolo brought a gun to Michael in the middle of the night and Michael used to murder someone, Paolo shouldn't have stepped on a court with a Duke uniform on again for last season.

From what I’ve gathered they can’t prove that Miller even saw the text about bringing the gun. He was already on the way to pick those two up.

I work with kids all day long, and they live with their phones in their hands. I find it stretching the lines of plausibility that he didn't see that text. If he didn't, then okay, fine. I've never said he should be charged with a crime; we don't know enough to say whether he should or shouldn't. He should have been suspended, at least for a few games.

All of the optics and the school's behavior and Nate Oats and his teammates were awful here. Nothing about this has been good. And the most crucial part is that a woman who lost her life is being pushed aside for the Brandon Miller against all the odds narrative that I can't get behind. I don't know his intent that night. I hope he didn't know. We had a whole thread about this that went nowhere. Everyone has made up their minds. I don't see this going any differently.

Didn’t compare it at all but one was actually unlawful, one was not. Take it to the lounge if you want to continue. This thread needs to stay active

How bad must Virginia feel? The team that beat you is getting manhandled by SDSU.

Lol what? Who cares if he didn’t break the law? What kind of representative of your program gets asked late at night “ hey bro bring me my gun” and thinks cool I got you this is a great decision. Wrong place wrong time is completely incorrect. He put himself in that situation he didn’t just walk into it randomly 😂

Yeah he should’ve but he also wasn’t part of a murder. And yes he was a part of it, he delivered the weapon.

I’m about ten years older but I still feel apart of that generation. We all plug our phones into cars that show texts on our dashboard now for Christ sake 😂 and yeah I have the bad habit of texting while driving. I feel like that argument is ridiculous considering the time we’re in

Hell, texting while driving is worse than handing over a gun to the owner. He didn’t pull the trigger and kill anyone. You could if you’re on your phone.

yeah ok, we’ll I haven’t killed anyone or been directly involved in a murder. Worst I do is text at red lights but sure call me worse than Brandon Miller 😂

Worse than handing a gun to the owner 😂😂😂 too bad he wasn’t a responsible one 🤫

I’m sure you just text or look at your phone only at red lights. Lol.

He returned a gun to the owner. Does anyone have proof he knew the guy was going to murder someone?

You right he returned it to a responsible gun owner at a very reasonable time and at a place where guns definitely should be returned, I’m wrong you’re right. I’m glad Miller sleeps well knowing he was involved in a son losing his mother

UT/Pedo U...who you got? The Barn beating UH by 10 at half....I'll take AU in that one

If auburn wins, that'll be 3 SEC teams in sweet 16 with still Kentucky and Alabama left. Good shot they get 4 in sweet 16

AU going to lose this at the line....51% from the stripe on 29 FTs...we would have shot 50 FTs in our game with this crew
Yeah, I had to do a double take watching this game. With under 5 to go in the game, Auburn has shot 21 free throws, while Houston has shot 14. This is just for this half too.

Freaking unreal.
