We seem really unprepared for everything Tennessee is throwing at us. Zero counters to the ball pressure.
Filipowski is a lil rattled early. Need teammates to pick him up. Let's do it defensively create some fast break baskets.
They are fouling the living hell out of Flip, Proctor, and Roach. I'd start isolating Whitehead. Don't think Tennessee has anyone that can take him
Comon boys. This is why seeding matters. This is a sweet sixteen elite eight type game. This physicality will help us but only if we win.
I think we are getting used to what to expect today. Maybe they are waking up to the physicality of it.
You know the refs are bad when a Nole on the national board is saying Duke is getting screwed by the refs...
resorting to this type of physical play is embarrassing for UT...refs need to get into the game
Have to hit outside shots and from the line because we should get there often. Take away that one guard that can shoot, and we are fine
Flip has been pretty nervous this tournament it seems, but I think he’s settling in.
Injured in practice yesterday. Surprised they kept it under wraps until game time
Yah missing FTs is path to defeat
We responded well and are getting in the groove. Vols will continue playing physical so we need to hit those FTs.
Tennessee set the tone and the refs are allowing it. Not feeling good about this…..
I rewinded flip actually did push a little bit based on what Tennessee has been getting away with…
Like I said earlier. Duke gets touch fouls and Tennessee is flat out playing dirty to some extent. Both teams are even in fouls I believe....lol
Barnes is taking a page out of Huggy Bear and Pitino's playbook: foul the hell out of the other team, dare the officials to call them, and then b!tch about the foul differences...
