As long as we have a two possession lead, keep Cooper on the bench. No disrespect to him, he’s really good. But the boys are moving the ball better, and we have a good flow.
This is a total trap game after Auburn. Get out with a W and start the bus.

Flagg and Brown are the only consistent players we have thus far.
This team is deep in that it can be a different lineup that get's it done from night to night.
I THINK that's just the type of team we have. Play everyone. This is probably not going to be a team that we can work it down to a rotation of 7 to 8.

That's who he is at this point. It is safe to say that we KNOW what we are going to get from him most nights. And it's wonderful.
I am okay with Kon tonight. Yes, he missed a ton but hit two big shots from 3. But that's what I want from our "shooters." That's what I want from Evans. You in the game, you get an open look like that, let it go. HAVE to get your shooters attempts.
This team does value the ball. Only 5 turnovers.

Blasphemy I know but I believe Flagg is a Grant Hill type talent. I LOVE the kid's game. He does IT ALL.
got to see what we can do w/o Flagg.....was quite encouraging. Maybe we can play a balanced team..it includes Flagg but maybe not 38 mins a game
Jon put together a much improved plan 2nd half. As always, Brown was the X factor.
Early call, Maliq will win Defensive Player of the Year in the ACC. Great stretch there when Flagg picked up his 4th. Go Duke!!

Definitely Grant Hill. Sadly, we won't get to see him run the PG his soph year 🤣😄
Interesting that Gillis played 16 minutes. He's not flashy, but nice to have a strong vet to plug in there for nights like this. Evans didn't score but still got 10 minutes.
Our defense in the second half won us this game.
Ugly win and still found way to cover thanks to a couple timely three's by Kon and Brown and James playing like animals.
I know Mal is a project but geez for someone 7'2 he disappears. Is it our players aren't looking for him? Or our system doesn't benefit his style?

Pretty good week. Top 5 win and ACC road win. The schedule gets easier for a few weeks. We play mighty Incarnate Word Tuesday, but I think we've earned it. Then George Mason, GT and VT.
