End of half situations still a disaster for the most part. Iso which ends up being a huge nothing burger. 4 straight possessions to shrink the lead or go ahead and nope. Still only down 4, but they need to reset mentally at half, to be sure.
No body on this team can get it to the right spot. If that was the case Mal would have way more than one lob pass . Especially with Louisville’s one big in foul trouble .
Duke does not look inside and the five out is not working . Especially with missing so many three’s.
We can win this game, but this is no superteam. Lot of work to do.
Usual issues - slow start against a team that gets hot from 3....maybe guard the 3 closer. Too much iso on the other end and not enough presence inside. Road games were tough last year too...even against a weak ACC looks like they will be battles. Kon once again very quiet offensively...he needs to get 10-15 a game to justify the mins.
It's been long enough now and enough attempts that we have to consider Kon is in a slump from 3, but he has to keep shooting. Certain guys I am okay with for them to keep shooting. He is one of them "for now." but he has to break out of it soon.
I am here with you on Kon. He’s a good player. But he’s not hitting shots, not assisting like he did against Kansas and is barely moving on offense .
Could be because he’s being told to rebound and kick out instead of go up . He doesn’t seem different to me just seems like he’s getting pulled quicker for Brown . His hand could be bothering him as well .
Kona’s stroke has been awful on the road. He has to get it going. We also need some form of inside presence. We have hardly no inside game, which means we have no inside/out one to use either. Our offense in general has little rhythm.
It’s also a shame Foster has 3 fouls. Kid is playing pretty well. Sion is a solid utility guy, but he’s not a point guard.

Kon right now is the guy most thought he would be before the summer hype train kicked in. He will get there.
refs are touchy....maybe Flagg will sit with 3 and we can see what our team looks without him out there...im curious
We are in striking distance. I'd drink some Coor's but I have an early start tomm. So I'm drinking tea. Maybe that will get us going.
Is it though...the last few years we've said the same thing....nothing has changed and in games where we dont shoot the 3 well ( but continue to do so) we just keep doing it and have zero plan B....JS needs to change it...we can still pull this out but its rinse and repeat from last year
