Favorite THR Quotes....

And he knows all.
He was real busy counting against Tenn. Saw a blown transition, blown assist, blown offensive rebound on most plays there in the first 30 minutes. Probably sits there with a little excel spreadsheet with all the columns trying to keep up. Rewinds on the timeouts
( not Roy's) to make sure he credits blown opportunities to the correct guy.

He either watches the same game 5x or just makes up the total number of his made up stats. Both options are equally humiliating

I don't ever check in on THR but at Inside Carolina they're all turning into Patty Hearst when it comes to Duke. (Stockholm syndrome, when you start sympathizing or identifying with your kidnappers) there was a 4 page thread about Duke chemistry that contained more praise/fear for this Duke team than anything else in the thread LOL.

Art Chansky the longtime UNC author/shill even had a piece entitled "Scary Good" after the Florida game over at his chapelboro.com site. LOL.

Not even close. DSouthr once said....."don't be surprised to see Joel James as the #1 overall pick someday. And not a first-round pick, the #1 pick."

And last year he said that whatever GM takes Brandon Ingram in the first round should be fired on the spot. Lol, no bias there...

The real question is if an assist is converted is it a blown blown assist? Chew on that one.

Perhaps he can make it like hockey where there are multiple assists on a goal. Therefore, whenever they score, everyone who touched the ball on that possession gets to tally an assist, and even multiple assists if they touched it multiple times. You could have 10 assists on a dunk, it would be a great stat stuffer.

uncfan in ky had this to say about Saturday's game...

"This is the game that if we had Theo we'd win by 20+. Shut down Monk from 3 & UK is awful."

I guess it's possible, but something tells me someone is a bit overzealous in their love for Theo Pinson.

Two seasons of play where he's averaged less than 5 points. He's not even as good as JP Tokoto.

Before Pinson got hurt, some augured if Pinson should even start, now he is the championship calibre play they are missing to bring them a trophy to CH.

He'd be a perfect get. If we landed him, we'd have him for this year + 1 more year, and gives time for Maye or Huffman to turn into the next Hansbrough and Jamison.
From the discussion regarding a Gtown transfer.

Luke Maye the next Hansbrough or Jamison? :D

Is Pinson out for the season?

I don't think so. He should be back sometime in mid-to-late January according to some of their posters. Of course, we thought Amile would be back around then too and we learned that was a pipe dream.

He makes them better from a defensive standpoint because he is a versatile defender, but his offense is, for lack of a better term, a bit offensive. I guess what I'm saying is that I'd rather have Theo chuckin' up shots than K. Williams or Maye....both of those two are better shooters.

This is actually the one I meant woooowwww to. Ha.

They always do this. Whether it's with injured players or future recruits, the Ultimate Savior, the cure-all for UNC's basketball woes, is always this mythical guy on the UNC roster incapable of playing and saving them for this, that, or other reason. It's the grease that eases the slide into mediocrity.

But they would have been worse with Brandon Ingram right?

Of course. Roy only recruits one-and-dones so that they'll reject him and choose Duke, thus preventing us from swiping the 3-star players Roy really had his heart set on. Heels win!

The foolish comments that UNC fans make reminds me of some of idiotic comments were hear from Pyongyang NK.

They always claim that "nobody out works Roy." How do they know? Are the Hole fans all following him around all day every day? Just a totally made up narrative by those tools.

BillyL:
"Not saying we're going to get Langford, or anyone else . . . but, Coach is out there working like he always does. The man works as hard as any other . ."

Some work smarter, not harder.
