Honestly Q, I wish him luck wherever he goes, but I am hoping that Boston does not sign him long term. Being the second star on another team may his best situation. I don't think he handled being the leader in Boston very well at all. That does not mean his play was bad, it wasn't. In fact he played very well in his time up here, but I am not sure how much he can actually lead all the young guys Boston has. I saw very little impact he had positively on those young dudes. I believe he has, indirectly in a way, hurt the development of Tatum and Brown. Not too mention what Terry Rozier was relegated to this season. I am a big Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum fan and I want those two to be in Boston for many years. If Kyrie stays, i doubt either will be for long. (mostly because of the money they are going to demand when their contract situation unfolds)
Brandon Ingram will join former Duke players Jahlil Okafor, Frank Jackson and likely Zion Williamson.
Some of the ESPN talking heads are saying JJ would be a good fit with the Lakers now. I wouldn't mind seeing that at all.
Whatever the deal was, I am very happy that Tatum and Brown are still Celtics.Boston is committed to Tatum
