Jayson Tatum led Boston with his second career triple double—29 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists—in a 124-95 win over Dallas.
I don't know about the rest of you, but when i'm checking box scores I often forget that our guy Mark Williams is also on Charlotte and is the backup center behind Plumlee. Based on his stats, it looks like he's playing well. He had 7 points and 8 boards in just 16 min last night. He's averaging 6 and 6 in just 13 min per game for the season. Not bad for a kid who just turned 21.Mason Plumlee scored 18 points and added 13 rebounds in a 116-111 loss to Indiana.
Williams spent much of the early part of the season in the G-League. But when Nick Richards got hurt Charlotte gave Williams a chance and he took it. Now Richards is healthy and they have to decide how to manage minutes at the 5 between Plumlee, Williams and Richards. Charlotte is pretty close to being out of the playoff hunt and they might decide to shop Plumlee and let Williams and Richards figure it out. Something to watch.I don't know about the rest of you, but when i'm checking box scores I often forget that our guy Mark Williams is also on Charlotte and is the backup center behind Plumlee. I don't know man... if I'm the GM and I'm looking at three players at the same position and two are Duke guys and one is a Kentucky guy.... the Kentucky guy is the one on the trading block ten times outta ten. ;-)Williams spent much of the early part of the season in the G-League. You do know who owns the Hornets?I don't know man... if I'm the GM and I'm looking at three players at the same position and two are Duke guys and one is a Kentucky guy.... the Kentucky guy is the one on the trading block ten times outta ten. ;-)
Orlando seems like it will be very interesting to watch going forward. Lots of young talent with the Duke guys, Franz and Mo Wagner, etc. Having Wendell, Mo Wagner, Mo Bamba, and Bol Bol seems like opportunity to trade to fill some holes. And at PG... Markelle Fultz, Cole Anthony, and RJ Hampton. They just need one of those talented guys to turn into a top 15 PG in the league and they'll be tough to beat.Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter, Jr. scored 19 each in a 112-108 loss to Utah. Carter also added 10 rebounds in the loss.
