Appreciate your weekly updates, Conor.

What is up with our preseason All-American Schreck? Not in boxscore since Game #1.

Not the start I hoped for, but the next seven games all look winnable. Here's hoping.

Will, just now seeing this. My pleasure -- I hope to have more baseball coverage after basketball season ends, albeit while also juggling spring football and recruiting news.

I will check on Schreck.

What I've been told on R.J. Schreck, who was in the lineup (0-3, 1 run) as DH in yesterday's 17-1 rout:

RJ was day-to-day early on with an upper body injury. Obviously tried to play injured in the first game of the season, didn’t go well and so coaches decided to give him rest and let him work back. Still working back to throwing but wanted to get him in the lineup some as his swing feels better.

Thanks for the update. I'll never understand the vague term " upper body injury ". I could see it in UFC. or boxing, but not baseball and basketball. I would prefer just injury
